Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

Today we want to lift up all that find themselves or a loved one, in a life and death battle with their health. Lord we ask for your healing hand to be upon them. Please ease their pain, and remove the viruses, cancers, infections and everything that is attacking their bodies. Please heal the wounds and injuries. For those who are in pain, we pray for relief for them, Father. Lord, we pray for the removal of fear and anxiety and ask for your peace to descend on each person and those who love them. Please provide the best medical care, Lord. We also ask for financial provision to pay their medical bills and expenses.

Lord, for all the people with chronic illness and disorders, we ask for your divine intervention and provision. Lord, these things can range from the invisible and barely noticeable in our lives…to leaving us bedridden or barely able to function. Lord, we ask that you will give strength to endure and we pray for your healing hand to be upon each of these as well. Lord, for the parents, spouses, and caregivers of those with special needs, please give them strength when they are weary. Provide respite care for them. For those who are married, we ask for a hedge about their relationships that the stress won’t tear them apart. For the single parents, we ask for people to see their heavy loads and for them to reach out with support and encouragement. We ask for a shield about each one of these who have suffered pain from the hurtful words and judgments of others who have no clue what it is like to walk in their shoes. Please send people who understand and have hearts of compassion to help carry their burdens. For each one in need, we ask that you would open the doors so they can receive all the services that are needed and we ask Lord, for you to bless them and provide for them.

Lord, you know how brief, fragile and fleeting our lives are. Life passes by like the blink of an eye. There are never enough hours in the day, except when we are full of grief… and then the days seem endless. Help our faith when it is weak. Help us to count it all joy when we encounter trials and adversity… help us to grow and learn to treasure the things you teach us and help your promises to be like a life-preserver thrown to a drowning man…may they support and hold us up and help us to hold fast to the things that we’ve been taught. Lord, please sustain, encourage and build up each one here. Help them to have faith when they can’t clearly see the answers or understand the reasons behind what is happening in their lives……help them to trust when it doesn’t seem natural to do so.

Bless each one we pray and meet their every need, Lord. We thank you that you are in our midst Lord and we praise you and thank your for your saving grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Blessings be upon you!

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for being our shelter in the storms. Thank you for being our fortress…our safe harbor…and our refuge. Lord, for many that are gathered here, the storms they find themselves in are scary…they are afraid…they feel vulnerable, beat up and battered. Many feel stuck…like they are a prisoner of their circumstances or their pain and they want to break free and run…they feel like there must be somewhere safer where they can escape the storms and find peace and calm…but if they could look from an outside perspective, they would see that though the winds are howling and the waters are raging, there is no safer place to be than in the shelter you provide. There is no safer place to be than the center of your will.

Lord, I know many are saying “How long Lord must I endure?” Many are questioning where you are and when you will deliver on your promises…many are confused and questioning so many things about their life…about the things they’ve known…they are wondering about you, Lord…Father, for these we pray they would hear your voice over the storms…we ask that you would give them the wisdom and discernment to know which way to go in their lives when they are feeling that they’ve made a wrong turn or they must be on the wrong path. Send them wise counsel and guide them with your Word and through prayer and give them clarity with the tough questions in life… questions like – when to let go…how to move forward…how to trust you when it is hard…how to keep walking by faith when they would just rather give up…how are things going to get better…when will the pain end…

Father, the enemy is just doing a number on people filling them with discouragement…speaking lies making people believe that your promises aren’t true or they are for someone else…making people believe that if you really cared about them their life should be different or better…Father, in the name of Jesus, we bind the enemy…we pray to break the chains that he has imposed…we pray to shake off the doubts and the fears and the lies he spreads to make us question your power and authority and who you are and what you can do in the life that is yielded to you. Father, we ask that you would strengthen us so that we would want you… and to know you better, more than we want our physical, mental, emotional or financial comfort…we ask to be filled with your Holy Spirit that we may receive boldness and courage to keep pressing on even though we have no clue what we are doing or how we are going to face all that’s in front of us…please take our hand, Lord and never let go…lead and guide us through the dark valleys until we see the light before us…help us to mature and grow and never grow weary in well-doing. We may falter, we may fall down…but be our strength Lord and pick us up and dust us off so we can be the mighty warriors that overcome through you.

Father you didn’t say being a Christ follower would be easy…in fact, you tell us we will face hardships of every kind…we will be rejected and persecuted…we will suffer for your name…but through it all…we can have a rich, abundantly rewarding spiritual life…. instead of it just being a hard life that we must face on our own…you go before us…you stand beside us…you carry our burdens… you gave so much when you died on that cross for us and you keep giving to us…you take our sin…you give your strength…you give your joy… you give your peace…you show your strength in our weakness…help us to count it all joy, Lord…help us to see the value in our pain and adversity…help us to see the fruit that it brings…help us to treasure the sweet fellowship that we are allowed to share with you in the midst of it all…help us to look at the examples in the Bible of the many ways that your followers endured hardship and were transformed by it…help us to realize the many miracles and blessings that came from trusting, believing and clinging to you, Lord…help us to look beyond what we want and what we think should happen in our lives, so we might be fully aware of what you want to do in our lives.

Go before us Lord…forgive our impatience…forgive us when we are weak and when we lack faith…make us into the men and women you want us to be so we might please you, Father. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Blessings be upon you all!
Much love in Him,
Debbie

Good Morning ! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We pray for all that are nervous…weary… anxious. We pray for those who are finding it hard to eat and sleep… we lift up those that feel numb, spent or on edge. We pray for those who are fretting in the face of mounting pressure and obstacles. There are many that are dealing with physical pain. They feel they can’t handle much more. Lord, we pray for those that are dealing with these emotions and circumstances…may they find your supernatural peace. Please soothe the raw nerves, the stress and the anxiety.Help them to accept and face head on the things they can’t change. We pray they will find the strength to say, “here are my burdens Lord, take them from me,” and then be able to truly and completely leave them with you and not take their burdens back.

There is no detail of our lives that you are not interested in, Lord. People may grow weary of us. People may be frustrated with us and lack patience and understanding for our situations. They may put us down and make fun of us when we don’t conform to their expectations. Many don’t understand the depths of our pain…and some don’t want to understand because it makes them uncomfortable….but you are not that way Lord. You are full of loving kindness and compassion. When we hurt, you hurt. You long to see us healed from our pain, but you do not rush us. You do not scold us. You just whisper “I am here…come to me and I will give you rest….my yoke is easy and my burden light”.

For all the negative things that surround us daily, there are so many more positive things if we only refocus our gaze and our hearing. Lord, please intervene and deliver those who are being oppressed with negativity and harsh judgments.

Father, please go before us. You see the needs. You know the hurts. You have already figured out the “where” and the “when” to the solutions, healing and provision. May we find rest and peace knowing you are in control. Draw us close to you Lord. Speak to us and show us new things of you. May we dwell on your truth and promises, in our moments of weakness. Strengthen our resolve Lord. May we become strong warriors for you that are fearless because we are confident you are with us and that we can do all things through Christ. We love you Lord and ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Blessings to you!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you that your love for us is deeper than any ocean. We thank you that there is nothing in this world that can separate us from your love. We thank you Lord, that you are all powerful…you’re all knowing…and you, the creator of all, knows each one of us by name and you care about the smallest details of our lives.

Father, we struggle against things in this world, but you are right there beside us…you and a heavenly host protecting us…if our eyes were allowed to see, we would be astonished to know that we are surrounded and protected by an incredible army that fights unseen battles on our behalf daily. The enemy may attack…he may try to take us out or make us ineffective, but he can never snatch us from your hand. Our souls are eternally secure in you and we need not fear what people or circumstances may do to us, because you are always with us.

Father, may we be people of courage…not because of who we are, but because of “whose” we are…fill us with your Holy boldness that is fearless in the face of adversity. Fill us with confidence so we may stand secure in the heritage that is ours as children of the King of Kings. Fill us with a sense of wonder and reverential awe for you…you, who knew no sin…you, who are perfect in all your ways…you, call us beloved and adored…you, long to know us intimately…you long to shower us with gifts we can’t imagine…you long to comfort us, to encourage us and to give us your peace…we are but dust, but you love us with an everlasting love that sees past our failings and short comings to what we will be.

Thank you, Father, for all you do for us…for all you give us…for your faithfulness. May we be a people after your own heart, Lord. Grant us your wisdom and discernment, Father, that we might serve you better and not be deceived by things in this world. Help us when we are weary. Pour your grace upon us when we are filled with despair…we thank you for the wounds that you bind and the healing that we receive because of the blood that Jesus shed for us.

Father, we pray for healing of body, mind and spirit for each person that is praying with us. We pray for healing for our loved ones. For all those who are in life and death situations, we pray for your divine intervention according to your will, Lord. We pray for all that are suffering in hospitals. We pray for the loved ones who are incarcerated and who are needing hope or salvation…Lord, there is no where we can go in this life that you are not there…there is no pit that is too deep for you to reach into and pull us out of. You died to set the captives free, Lord and that includes from every form of bondage that this world tries to keep us in.

Lord, we ask that you meet every need. Heal every hurt…please heal painful memories and restore the lives of those who have been wounded by hurtful words and deeds. Lord, for those who doubt your love for them…for those who think they are too lost or too far gone for you to find them…speak to them Father and may they see their worth through your eyes of love.

Thank you, Father God that you waste nothing….that you redeem everything…thank you for the hope and promise that you offer us…thank you that this is not the end and that better things await. Help us to keep pressing in and pressing on, until you call us home. May we be lights in the darkness that point the way to you and may we always encourage and comfort others with the same comfort you give us. We love you Lord and we are so grateful to have a Savior in whose name we can pray….In the name of Jesus, we ask these things, Amen.

Blessings be upon you all!
Much love in Him,
Debbie

Daily Prayer for May 11th

May 11, 2013

Hello Friends! Here’s today’s prayer…Dear Lord,We come today and we thank you for the gift of life…Lord, so many holidays are meant to honor and uplift special people and we want to do that. Loving mothers and grandmothers are among the greatest treasures and blessings we can know… but for many, holidays are just painful reminders of loss and heartache…Lord, we want to thank you for our mothers and we ask your blessing to be upon them. We ask that you will meet their every need and hold them close unto yourself. Lord we thank you for the godly women in our lives who have been role models that have shown us Christ like love.

Lord, we know that for many, their mother’s are not with them…some it is due to death, some because they live far away, others because they have lost them to diseases that have robbed them of their memories and identities, some because they are estranged, some have never known their mothers, others have suffered abuse at their hands. For so many, Mother’s Day is difficult… Lord, for those we ask for your peace and comfort. We ask that you will help them through this weekend by giving them a sense of your presence. We ask Lord, that you will continually fill those broken places in their hearts and lives with more of yourself. We especially ask for your comfort for the ones who are experiencing their first Mother’s Day without their mom’s. Lord, please touch each heart as only you can.

Lord, we lift up all the mothers who are grieving the loss of a child today. We pray that you would also minster your peace and comfort to them. May they find comfort in knowing that their children are with you and one day they will be reunited and never separated again. For the moms who are without their children for other reasons…we ask for them as well to feel your comfort. We pray for all of these moms Lord, and ask that they would feel your presence like never before. We pray they would feel your nearness and your peace that passes all understanding. We pray you would be especially near to those which are experiencing their first Mother’s Day without their child. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon them Lord and may they find refuge in your arms.

Most of us have felt the love that only a mother can give. When things are as they should be, there is nothing that compares to a mothers love and we thank you for that gift. There is also nothing that compares to the love we have for our children. For most of us, when we first lay eyes on our child, we feel a love that we didn’t know was possible. I believe it’s a shadow of what you feel for us Lord…it’s hard to imagine that you could love us more than our mom’s or that you could love our children more than we do, but it is true and that is just so hard to comprehend… we thank you Lord for your unconditional love for us and we pray for every person that is feeling unloved…for each person that feels like no one understands them…for each person who feels lost and alone or abandoned…we pray that they would look to you to fill the empty places. We pray they would find their identity in you…we pray they would claim being your child…we pray they would remember that you have known them by name since they were in their mother’s womb and that you love them with an everlasting love and that you will never leave, forsake or abandon them.

Lord,  we ask for all those women who have longed to have a child to call their own and yet they have been unable to conceive…Lord we ask for you to be with them this weekend and comfort them. Please quench the ache in their heart and empty arms.

Finally, Lord, we want to lift up the single parents…their lives are so much more difficult than the average parent…and if their child has special needs, life is even harder. For these parents, they are often left out of celebrations unless someone prompts or helps their child…they may try to focus on the gift of just being a mom, but they know they are often left out and feel the sting of being set apart from other parents…and for the single dads who must be both mom and dad, they feel their unique situations as well. Father, we ask that you be their strength when they are weary and overwhelmed…be their provider and their helpmate. Meet their needs, Father as only you can and may they be comforted to know that one day they will receive recognition and rewards from you personally, that will more than make up for the struggles and the things they have had to do on their own.

Thank you for our many blessings Lord…please meet every need, spoken and unspoken and we pray your favor upon mothers every where. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Blessings to you all!
Much love in Him,
Debbie

Blessings to you! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer for today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

There are so many amazing things of beauty here on earth and we know, that this world and this life, is nothing compared to what awaits us. Thank you, Lord, that we have the promise of eternal life. Thank you Lord, that one day we will be through with all the hurt and pain and sorrow and death. Thank you, that we will have no more health problems or injuries…thank you, that we will be free from fear and anxiety and depression. Thank you, that we will finally know true and lasting peace, love, contentment and joy. Our greatest moments of joy here on earth, will pale in comparison to what awaits us. May our hearts swell within us, as we think about your goodness and greatness Father!

Father, we know that prophecies are being fulfilled every day. No man knows the hour or day of your return, but we know that we are closer than we’ve ever been… as things are being fulfilled right before our eyes. Lord, despite our pain and worries and cares, help us to be concerned for the well-being of the lost. May we have a strong desire to share your love and your truth and the gospel with those that don’t know you. Help us care more about lost souls… help us to love people so much, that we are willing to risk rejection from them, so we know they’ve had the opportunity to hear the good news of the salvation message. Help us to be prayer warriors for the lost that we know. May we have a sense of urgency and not put off what we can do today…as many of us have learned first hand, none of us is guaranteed a tomorrow and our last day can come unexpectedly and without warning.

Lord, help us to weigh everything in light of eternity. Help us keep our worries in proper perspective. Help us re-evaluate our priorities. Help us not to become so fixated on our struggles that we lose sight of how fleeting this life is. Help us to overcome. Help us to grow strong in you. Help us to not get stuck or bogged down where we are at…held captive by pain unable to go backwards or to move forward. Help us to keep taking action steps each day, so we might keep moving forward in this race that is before us. We want to hear you say to us one day, “Well, done my good and faithful servant”. Lord, we thank you that you are greater than anything we face in this world. Our hope, faith and trust is in you Lord! .We trust that you will meet every need of everyone that is praying with us…we know that you see every tear and hear the feeblest of cries that are uttered to you. We give you all that we have Lord and trust everything to your hands. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

Hope you have a blessed weekend!
Much love,
Debbie

Good Morning Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Dear Savior,

As we think about Isaiah 53, it was foretold long before your birth, that you would come to this earth with one mission…that mission was to redeem us and to pay the price for our sin. You know what it is like to suffer. You know what it is like to feel rejection and to be looked down upon. You faced that and so much more for us, Lord. You took upon yourself, all of our sin…all of our pain, our disfigurements, our imperfections and shortcomings, our losses, our grief, and our shame. You went through these things, so we could say we have a Savior that understand what we go through.

We don’t have to question if you understand our pain. When people cry out in frustration and through tears and say things like, “Lord, where are you…Don’t you know what I’m going through?”….The answer is a resounding “yes”, magnified to infinity…you understand perfectly every tear we cry and every hurt we carry. We so often lose sight of this fact. We focus our attention on ourselves and look no farther than what’s in front of us. You don’t ask us to carry any burdens ourselves….you offer to do it for us. You want us to have your joy and peace in the midst of the storms…even to this present day, you want to bear our pain, because of your loving kindness and mercy towards us.

The Bible says you were a man well acquainted with sorrow and grief. As you were beaten and tortured you didn’t say a word. You took it all in silence, so we don’t have to. Through your spilled blood and bruises, we are made whole and are healed. Through your pain, you brought forth new life for all of us.

Lord, for each of us, please let these words sink into our hearts. May we feel the depths of your great love for us. May we truly feel and see, just how much you care…how much you were willing to endure for us. May we feel your nearness and understand that there is no one who will ever be more intimately acquainted with every detail of our lives. There is no one we will ever meet that can love us so unconditionally, or who can fully understand our pain, grief or burdens. There is no one who can ever carry the weight of our pain and remove it like you can. You died to set us free, Lord. We have great suffering in this life, you told us it would be that way…but you always make a way to endure it all… by offering yourself over and over.

Lord, there are many who are hurting this week as they think of Mother’s Day that is coming up…they have a sense of dread as they think of their mother’s, their children, their grandmother’s and other loved ones that are no longer with them. Jesus, you are our comforter and the One who sustains us. Please send your Holy Spirit to minister to each hurting heart we pray, Lord. Help us to receive all that you did for us on that cross and during your lifetime. Help us to live in the freedom that you sacrificed and paid such a heavy price for. Lord, we are humbled beyond words as we kneel before you today. Thank you for who you are and for all you’ve done for us. In your most precious name we pray, Amen.
Blessings to you!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
