Prayer For Jan. 20th

January 20, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for this day…we thank you for seeing us through this week. We thank you for your grace that has sustained us…some days and weeks are harder than others and many who are praying with us have had a very hard week…some have been dealing with the aftermath of natural disasters, others with the death of loved ones…some are struggling with their health or loved ones who are ill… many are just struggling to hold on as they deal with the constant daily pressures of their life…

Father, we know there are many things we deal with in this life that do not have quick fixes…so many things we deal with others don’t understand and that can make us feel isolated and alone…help us remember that you are always with us…help us to remember that there is a purpose for the pain you allow and you promise to bring beauty from our brokenness and struggles…

Please bless everyone who is reading this prayer…please comfort them…heal them…make them aware of your nearness… fill them with your peace…meet their needs…draw them close to you and fill them with hope and encouragement…breathe new life into them…for those who are overwhelmed by stress…please go before them and do what only you can do in their circumstances…may they feel tension fade from their body, even as they are praying at this moment…

Help us to remember that you are greater than anything in this world…rise up within us, Lord…may we grow in you, in every way we need to grow and mature…remind us that you have equipped us…we are not defeated…remind us in your Word of the many times your children faced overwhelming trials and odds and how they overcame with your help…

Please make roadways in the wilderness and streams in the desert…we pray that the lost will have their eyes opened to who you are …we ask for your strength and for provision for this day…may you be glorified in us and our circumstances. No matter what is going on may we be able to say, “this is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice in it”. We give you all that we are and hope to be. We lay our burdens before you and we offer up our praise to you, because you are so worthy to be praised. We thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen

Praying you feel His comfort, nearness and strength today friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 18th

January 18, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

It is impossible for us  to have this side of heaven all the answers that we seek…we must trust what we know of your character and what has been revealed to us through your Word… we must trust that You do everything carefully and with forethought, wisdom and knowledge beyond anything we can begin to comprehend…you are doing a new work in each of us as you heal, restore, stretch and refine us. You are strengthening us and changing us. As we die to our old selves, there is new life being resurrected in us…we are diamonds in the rough and with each new trial that comes into our lives, you are introducing a new opportunity to know you better and to learn, grow and be made more like Jesus.

Where you are, there is beauty, order and peace …everything pales in the light of your glory and grace…everything becomes still and calm… chaos, uncertainty, worry, fear and anxiety fade away in your presence…These are the greatest gifts you give us in the midst of our trials and suffering…you are our sanctuary…our safe harbor in the storms…our refuge from the world…no matter where we find ourselves physically, we can enter into your presence…thank you so very much for making a way for us to experience glimpses of your glory and what heaven will be like…what a day it will be when we see you face to face and feel the fullness of your love, joy and peace.

May our hearts be at rest…may we be filled with excited anticipation to see you…like a bride and groom anxiously waiting for their wedding day so they can be together…may your fire burn within us…may our heart’s overflow with the knowledge that we are so deeply loved, adored and treasured by you… We give you our lives, our needs, our hopes and dreams. We ask that your will be done and that we would glorify you as we try to live our lives doing everything as unto you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

May you have a blessed day friends!
In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 17th

January 17, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

When we feel like we are too exhausted to go on, help us to remember that you will renew our strength and give us rest. When we are facing something that seems more than we can handle, help us to remember that you will help us handle all that we are given…. help us to remember that your grace is more than enough to see us through. When we are confused, help us to remember that confusion does not come from you…help us to remember that you promise to give wisdom to those who ask…

When we are tempted to say that we are alone, help us to remember your vow to never leave us or forsake us…when we feel unloved or unwanted, help us to remember all that Christ did to show your great love for us… when we are feeling overwhelmed by financial pressures, help us to trust your promises to provide for our every need…help us to replace “I can’t” with “God can”… help us to walk in your strength, power and victory and resist the lies that the enemy is constantly whispering in our ears.

Lord, we ask at this moment to feel your peace and to view everything in light of your promises…we pray for your grace and favor to give us the energy, motivation and stamina to deal with all that is in front of us… you know everyone who is struggling with overwhelming trials and losses…you see, you care and you are standing with open arms to comfort all who call upon you…

Father, may we be strengthened by focusing on you and not the giants that are before us…everything fades and pales in comparison to you…may we feel empowered like a small child who has his Father beside him when facing bullies… you are with us, and you are greater than anything we are facing…please bind wounds, calm fears and replace anxiety with peace, still racing thoughts and heal all the physical symptoms from too much stress…help us to regain our footing and center ourselves on you. May we be at peace knowing that you hold the world and us in your hand and you will not fail us. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

May you feel God’s power and strength rise up in you!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 15th

January 15, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

There is so much in this world that distracts us…so much noise…so many things that seem so urgent and pressing, but they are often just energy and time drainers …please help us to let go of all that isn’t necessary so we can find time to be still before you… so we can hear your voice above everything else…so we stay focused on the things that really matter.

There is so much negativity that surrounds us…when we focus on the state of things in the world on top of what we are already dealing with, it’s easy to become overwhelmed…to feel irritated…to be angered by the things that others say and do…to worry and despair over what the future may hold…but you have not given us a spirit of fear…you have given us a sound mind and a thousand reasons to hope…

Help us to remember that you are in our midst and you are our hiding place, our place of safety, our refuge, our defender and a shield about us…help us to guard our hearts and minds…what we feed our minds is just as important as what we feed our bodies…help us to be mentally and emotionally healthy…help your church to be healthy…help us to be wise and discerning so we are not caught off guard or deceived…help us to remember who our true enemy is…help us to be good stewards with all that you have entrusted to us in every area of our lives…there is much we can’t  control in this life, but we can choose which thoughts we entertain and who we listen to and focus on …we can choose to “unplug” from the noise and distractions and things that stress us out and just spend time in your presence…

You are the solid rock beneath our feet…when everything seems off kilter and distressing, help us to look up to you…the things of this world fade away in your presence… in your presence we remember why we are here, whose we are and that you make all things new and all things beautiful in your time…thank you Lord, for all you do for us…for all you give us…for all that you are…for all that you have overcome and all that we have overcome through you. We thank you for all that is to come…help us to remember we are your beloved children and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

May you feel His peace and nearness today!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 14th

January 14, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for forgiving us of our sins…we thank you for accepting us and loving us just as we are…we thank you for loving us when we can’t love ourselves…we thank you for seeing the potential in us that we don’t see…

Lord, please  transform our pain…help us to overcome destructive patterns… help us to find healing and walk in your freedom so the things of our past don’t impact our relationships, our perceptions, our choices, our well-being or our future in a negative way.

Please help us to not be in denial about anything in our lives…give us courage to deal with the things we would rather avoid because they are painful…sometimes we suffer in difficult situations because we are afraid what will happen if we speak up… sometimes we are afraid of the unknown so our fear keeps us from moving forward…you don’t want us to live in fear… you don’t want us to hide behind carefully built walls or facades…you want us to trust our unknown future to you…you want us to trust you with our pain… you want the best for us always… there are some who think they can’t change, or their circumstances can’t change… there are some who think they are not worthy of good things…we all have different issues, but one thing we all have in common is we have an enemy who likes to mess with our heads and rob us of your peace and joy…he wants to keep us in chains so we don’t reach our full potential or fulfill the calling you have placed on our lives…he wants us to forget that Christ’s Resurrection Power is within us, but he never forgets.

We ask  for your wisdom…we ask for you to show us what to change and how to change it…we ask to be people of courage so we will be unafraid to allow you to touch the raw hurting places in our lives so you can do your healing work in us…we ask for you to shine your light in the dark places so your truth can dispel the darkness…we ask to find victory over the things that have affected us emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually…we ask to be set free from everything that has made us feel guilt, shame, regret and bitterness and held us back.

Please help us to not waste another day living with things that you don’t want us to carry…help us to believe that with your help, positive change is possible… that we can overcome and conquer… that it’s never too late to take steps to make things better…may we walk in your freedom and truth and find healing, restoration and redemption. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Blessings to you friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 13th

January 13, 2018

Hi, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Today we want to lift up children to you….we pray for all the pregnancies that are in trouble. We ask that you would lay your healing hand upon these children and their mother’s and ask that you would meet each need so these babies can be born healthy…

We pray for the children who are dealing with illness, disability and injury. Please put your healing hand upon each one. We ask that you would remove all fear, discomfort and pain. Please grant strength, healing and endurance for the children as well as for their parents… please bring people to stand with them and give wisdom to doctors, therapists and all who work with them so they receive the best care and treatment…please open doors and provide financially and in every way needed.

For all the children who are alone…for all who are abused, bullied, mistreated, hungry, homeless, displaced, neglected, unwanted, unloved or in dangerous situations… we ask for your divine intervention every form of protection, provision and deliverance needed. For all who have no voice, no way of escape and no one to be their advocate, Lord, please make a way where there seems to be no way…may each one feel your nearness and see your hand move on the behalf…

For the children of divorce and for the ones who have lost parents…for all who are dealing with grief, loss or sadness…for all who are struggling with depression, self-harm and the aftermath of traumatic events… For those who are caught up in harmful addictions or lifestyles… please remove bad influences and obstacles and please provide healing, hope, deliverance and restoration as only you can.  For all who don’t know you or who have turned away, please soften their hearts and open their eyes that they might find you…please bring the prodigals home…we pray for restored lives and restored homes and families.

For our children who are in heaven with you Lord, we thank you that one day we will be reunited with them and we praise you that they are safe in your loving arms, free from the cares of this world. Lord, you see each child…you know each by name…there are so many needs, and you know each one before we even ask…we lift our voices collectively and each need that is spoken and unspoken and we thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name we ask all these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you and those you love.

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 12th

January 12, 2018

Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another day of life…Lord, please help us to not become bogged down with stressful days, problems in relationships and misunderstandings. So often someone who is having a bad day will take out their problems on us and what was just a bad moment, turns into a bad day as we dwell on what happened and then we  end up taking  what happened to us out on someone else in some way…

Lord, help us to love others on the good and bad days…help us to be like Jesus when it’s not easy to…please help us to respond instead of react…help us to be slow to speak and slow to anger…may our words be full of wisdom, mercy, grace and compassion…

Sometimes we are called to advocate for others…to speak up for what is right for our children, a friend or spouse, for an elderly parent or someone you put in our path… sometimes, no matter how hard we try to avoid it, conflict is inevitable… there are times that we try so hard to make our words and actions be kind, yet despite our best efforts and intentions, feelings get hurt or harsh words spoken…relationships become strained…when people get mad or take things wrong, it can be so disheartening… we tried our best to do the right thing and yet things still ended up a mess…

Please help us in our difficult situations and relationships…please do a work in us and through us and help us resolve the issues that need to be worked out with others…teach us when we need to persist in trying to mend relationships and when we need to just pray and walk away…please grant us your wisdom…please comfort us when our hearts are heavy…when we miss what was…when we have trouble accepting what is…when we don’t know what the next step to take should be…when we just want to withdraw from others because our heart is tired of being misunderstood and hurt…please help each of us where we are at with what ever difficulty we might be dealing with…

We take comfort knowing that you go before us…you know our hearts and intentions…you know where we need to improve and you are a faithful Father who never turns anyone away when they ask for help or wisdom. Help us to take responsibility for the things that we can change in our own lives and help us to not take on anything that is not our fault, our responsibility or our problem… We know that you will close doors and open doors… not everyone who comes into our life is meant to stay permanently…please, work, heal, lead, guide, comfort, renew and restore according to your will and in your timing. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you!

In His love,
Debbie
