Prayer For June 19th

June 19, 2021

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As we gather together today, we ask you to bring peace to all who are struggling to come to terms with the difficult things that are happening in their lives. Please help us look at our struggles, pain, and losses against the backdrop of eternity. Please help us live in expectation of seeing your goodness and beauty rise from the ashes and memory of what was. Help us believe that better things lie ahead and our best days are in front of us, not behind us.

Lord, we humbly ask you to heal the wounds that we have from the changes and losses we’ve experienced. We pray that each of us will feel your presence, strength, and comfort in the midst of hard days. We are so grateful to know that even as the world changes…even when everything that is known and comfortable in our lives changes…you will never change. Thank you for being our stability and anchor amid the seas of change and the storms that pound us and bring devastation to our lives. We are grateful for your life-giving Word that brings hope, strength, and encouragement, so we know the things we go through are not unique but are common to man. We cling to your promises that our struggles are known by you, and you will redeem what the enemy has meant for harm and restore what the locusts have eaten.

Please pour out your blessings, grace, favor, and mercy upon my brothers and sisters and their loved ones today. You know this weekend is difficult for many. May all who are praying feel your comfort and stabilizing force in their lives. May we find your courage, strength, and stamina to keep pressing on through our challenges. Please help us, so the things that we go through don’t become our identity. Help us remember we are so much more than what has happened to us, what we are going through, or what we’ve lost. Please help us, so we don’t view changes in our lives as indicators of our value or worth. We are so much more than our social status, marital status, financial status, physical appearance, health issues, losses, and struggles. Help us to view ourselves and our circumstances through the lens of your Word and what you say.  We thank you, praise you and give you all glory and honor, our great and mighty King. Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Thank you for our precious Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.

May you have a peace-filled day, friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 18th

June 18, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the blessing of this day. Thank you for your grace that has seen us through this week. As we head into this weekend, Father, we know many are grieving and sad. Many are missing loved ones. You know all who are hurting by name. You know the number of hairs on their heads. You collect their tears. You see their comings and goings and when they arise. You are such a wonderful Father who cares about every detail of our lives and all that concerns us. Thank you for always being there for us in the good times and the bad and for being an ever-present source of help, comfort, and strength.

As we face this day, we realize how much we need you and depend on you. We are nothing without you, but we have all things and can do all things through you. Thank you for never failing us. Please help us be mindful of doing the things that matter to you today. Help us be pure of heart and focused on things that have eternal value. Please help us hear your voice, know your truth, and rebuke the lies and temptations of the enemy. Please teach us how to be wise as serpents, gentle as doves, and how to navigate this changing world we live in. Please take all that we are and all that we hope to be and use us for good and your glory. Please help us be committed and consistent in all we need to do for our spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and financial health and well-being. Help us grow and nurture the seeds you’ve planted within us, so we grow much fruit for you.

We love you, Father. We’re grateful to be called your children. Please go before us today and this weekend and help us to be a reflection of all your goodness, kindness, and love. It’s in the name of our Savior and Messiah Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

Praying blessings of peace, comfort, and joy over you, friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 17th

June 17, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for allowing us to see this new day. We are grateful that you have promised us strength that is equal to our days. Your Word assures us that your eyes search throughout the world to strengthen those whose hearts are committed to you. It is comforting to know you will provide the strength needed to endure and overcome no matter what we face in this life. Help us claim and speak these truths to ourselves every day. Help us drown out any voices that discourage us and keep us focused on things that tear us down instead of building us up. Help us remember we are able because you who have promised are faithful.

Thank you for your promise to gather us like lambs in your arms and to carry us close to your heart. We are grateful for the many word pictures you’ve given us to comfort, encourage, and inspire us. We are grateful that no matter how many things change in our world, you never change. We are so thankful that you are trustworthy in all you say and do. We don’t always understand your ways, what you allow, or what you are doing, but it is comforting to know that we can trust your character, heart, and intentions.

Lord, life is so hard at times, even when you are walking with us. It’s hard to imagine how people get through life without you. We want to intercede for our friends and family who don’t know you. We pray for the lost souls we see who are so full of hate, blinded by lies, and consumed by all that is wrong that they can’t see the light, beauty, or blessings surrounding them. We pray people’s hearts will be softened and their eyes opened so they can see the truth of who you are and receive the good news, love, and hope that you offer to all.

Please help us face our days with your peace and passion in our hearts. Please lead and guide us and give us all we need to fulfill your plans and purposes for our lives. We don’t want to fail in the days of our testing, Lord. We want to hear you say, “well done, good and faithful servant.”  Please guard our hearts and minds, gird us with your truth, and help us serve you well. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

May you have a blessed and peace-filled day, friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 16th

June 16, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Sometimes things happen that turn our lives and our world upside down.  Suddenly, nothing is familiar…nothing feels safe or comfortable. The landscape of our life is forever changed, and we don’t know where to begin to rebuild or start over.

For all who find themselves in the aftermath of an emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, or financial tsunami, we pray they will feel your nearness and comfort. We are grateful that when things seem out of control to us, you are still firmly in control. Thank you for your grace, love, and mercy that hold us together when we feel we are falling apart. Please help us remember when we feel we are holding on by a thread, you are holding us, and you will never let go.

We are grateful that what takes us by surprise is no surprise to you…that you are not scrambling for answers or a way to move forward. You have seen every day of our lives before we have lived one day. You hold the heavens and stars in place, and you have dominion over every living thing and all of time and space. You have the power to bring beauty from ashes, to restore what is broken, and to bring new life from death. We praise you, our Great and Mighty God, for your magnificent works.

Please touch every person who is praying with us. Please give each of us the energy, strength, and endurance we need to keep pressing into you and pressing on. When our faith feels too small, help us remember it only takes faith the size of a mustard seed to do the seemingly impossible. It is not our prayers that make the difference…it is you, the one we are praying to, who makes the impossible possible. It is not our strength but yours in us that helps us rise again. Your grace is always enough to see us through. We are grateful there is nothing we will ever face that we can’t get through with your help. Thank you for being our El Shaddi…our all-sufficient God who is still firmly on the throne and whose word never returns void.

May your hope and joy fill our hearts to overflowing this day. We thank you in advance for meeting each need according to your will and in your timing. We commit this day to you and pray you will be glorified in us. In the name of our Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen

You are loved and held friends. May you be encouraged and full of hope in Him!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 15th

June 15, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day. We want to center ourselves on you now, so we are better prepared and equipped for all that lies before us. Help us rise up in your power and might and gird ourselves with your armor and your truth. We give you all our cares, pain, worries, and burdens and surrender them to you now so we can be filled with your peace.

It’s not an easy thing to do, but we know we need to be spiritually disciplined and doing all we can to help ourselves with the many battles and challenges we face. You know it takes about 2 months for a new behavior to become automatic. As our Creator, you know better than anyone how long it takes us to embrace healthy habits. You know what will motivate and inspire each of us in the areas we need to work on. We ask for your help Father, to start doing the things we know we should do but have put off. Help us form good habits that become automatic to help us be better and stronger mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We can’t change everything we need to improve on all at once, but every small step leads to great gains if we persevere. We will never get where we want to be if we don’t start, so we ask for your divine help and intervention.

You tell us we have not because we ask not, so we ask you to nudge our spirits every day. Lead us to the encouragement, wisdom, teaching, and guidance we need so we can be all you’ve called us to be. For all who are discouraged or feel defeated…for those who think they can’t change…may they remember how radically the Apostle Paul changed after an encounter with you. His life gives us hope that with the Holy Spirit’s help, anyone can change.

Please help us live in a way that honors and pleases you. Help us stand firm in our faith and base our convictions on your Word and principles. In a world that is increasingly trying to desensitize us to things that go against you, please keep our hearts and minds sensitized to your Spirit and truth. Help us remember that the adversary sees our minds as a battlefield. Help us guard our hearts and minds as surely as we would guard our home from intruders. Help us be strong in you so we can escape and resist the snares of the enemy.

We worship you, praise you, and thank you that we can do all things through Christ, who gives us strength. May you be glorified in all that we think, say, and do today. Thank you in advance for all you will continue to do in us, through us, and for us. In the name of our Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

May you have a wonderfully blessed day, friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 14th

June 14, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for bringing us to the beginning of a new week. We want to start off our week by worshipping you, thinking about you and your Word, and meditating on your goodness and all we have to be thankful for. The Bible says you uphold all things by the power of your word. You open your hand and satisfy the needs of every living thing. You are before all things, and in you, all things are held together. In you, we live, move, and exist. Your breath has given us life and sustains us as long as we live. We acknowledge Lord, every good and perfect gift is from your hand. We are nothing, and we have nothing without you, but we receive all things through you. We praise you and thank you for the many ways you sustain us and bless us. We are thankful and humbled to be your children and heirs to your kingdom!

We are so grateful for our Savior, who so willingly laid down His life for us. We are grateful that you hold today, as well as all of our tomorrows, in your hand. What a blessing it is to know that you are with us no matter what is happening to us or around us. What a comfort it is to remember that you promise to strengthen us, help us, and uphold us. We are thankful that you haven’t given us a spirit of fear but one of power and love as well as a sound mind.

We offer up our lives, this day, and this week to you. May we serve you well and acknowledge you in all our ways so you can direct our paths. We pray people will see you in us and be drawn to you. We give you all praise, glory, and honor and ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen

May your cups overflow with blessings this week, friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Prayer For June 13th

June 13, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this new day and another chance to join together in prayer. Your Word says your eyes are upon those who fear you and those who hope in your unfailing love. You are our hope and shield, and we rejoice because you have called us out of the darkness into your wonderful light.

Your Word says you are clothed in splendor and majesty. You wrap yourself in light as a garment, and you stretch out the heavens like a tent. You make the clouds your chariot and ride on the wings of the wind. You made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun to know when to go down. You spoke the heavens into existence, and by the breath of your mouth, the stars were made.

There is none like you, Lord… and You, the Creator of All, stepped down from your throne, set aside your robe of light, to wrap yourself in human skin to save us from sin. You, who are perfect in all your ways, humbled yourself to become the sacrificial lamb that was slain on our behalf. There are no words adequate enough to thank you for clothing us in your righteousness and doing for us what we couldn’t do for ourselves. Thank you, Lord, for your indescribable gifts. Thank you for all you have given us and for what you have made possible for us.

On hard days, when we don’t feel like worshipping or praising, may the Holy Spirit prompt us to offer up a sacrifice of praise. There is nothing that lifts our spirits like entering your presence and your courts with praise, but we often forget that when the struggles of life are pressing down upon us. Help us grow spiritually mature so we can get better at rejoicing in all things.

At this moment, we bow before you and thank you for saving us and for making a way for us. Thank you for being our Savior, Immanuel, who is always with us. Thank you for your amazing grace and mercy. Thank you for your sacrificial, unconditional love. We give you all the praise, glory, and honor you so deserve.  In the name above all names, the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

May you and your day be filled with His joy and peace, friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 12th

June 12, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Today we lift up to you all who are overwhelmed. So many are dealing with multiple things at once. Like Job, they are in a season of just one attack of the enemy after another. They are dealing with grief, loss, and stressful situations. They can’t sleep or rest like they need, and many are now experiencing physical manifestations of all they are dealing with. You know how these seasons become a vicious cycle that feels like everything is spiraling out of control.  When it seems like things start to calm down, and there is light at the end of the tunnel, something else hits out of the blue. Our enemy loves to knock us down as we start to rise up.

Lord, please have mercy and give grace to all who find themselves in difficult seasons. Please help us focus more on you than all that is wrong. Help us focus on you instead of our pain and grief. Help us trust that you are watching over us just like you did, Job. You sustained him through tragedies and losses we can’t begin to imagine. Help us remember you are the same God you were then.

Help us look away from all that is going on around us to see you beside us. Help us exhale our stress and breathe in your peace. Help us speak your truth to ourselves, our enemy, and our circumstances as many times a day as it takes so we can overcome our feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and despair. Help us do all we can do, and then trust you to do what we can’t.

You know how hard these places are for us. You understand like no one can. Help us cling to you and your promises. Help us turn to you before we go to anyone else. May these hard places drive us into your arms and comforting presence. Help us picture ourselves being held and comforted by you. Help us so we don’t give in or surrender to the pressure, the stress, or anything else the adversary is pounding us with. You promise you will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you. What you give, the world can’t give or take away. Help us see these times of turmoil and tragedy as a chance to experience more of you…to experience you in ways we can’t see when things are good. Help us have faith like Job, that blesses your name no matter what you give or take away.

Rise up within us, Lord. Holy Spirit, please strengthen and comfort us. Jesus, please unleash your power within us so we can keep pressing into you and fighting on. Help us remember this is the dark before the dawn, and these struggles can’t begin to compare to the joy that is coming. Thank you for hearing our prayers and for helping us all of our days. In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

May you be filled with His peace and comfort to overflowing, friends! May you see Him move mightily in your life and circumstances.

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 11th

June 11, 2021

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for this day. We ask for your help to set aside our cares so we can focus on you.  There is no better way to start our day than worshipping you for all you are and all that you do. We praise you, Yahweh-The Great I am, and Adonai- our Covenant Keeper. Your Word is truth, your promises sure. Every word you have spoken will surely come to pass.

Thank you for being our Jehovah Jireh-our God who faithfully provides for every need. We are grateful you are our Healer, Jehovah Rapha. You are the Great Physician who heals us emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Thank you for being our Shepherd, Jehovah Roi-  who leads us and directs us in all our ways. Thank you for guiding us through dark valleys and beside still waters. Thank you for restoring our souls. We praise you for the protection and comfort you give us, and because you are our Shepherd, there is nothing we shall lack or fear. We praise you, Jehovah Shalom, our Lord of peace.  We worship you, our El Shaddai, our powerful Sustainer. Thank you for upholding us, protecting us, and providing for us in every area of our lives.

Oh, Lord our God, you are the answer to every prayer. You are the true source of the hope, joy, love, and peace that we seek. You are the source of our rest, healing, and strength. You have planned from the beginning to be all things to us. In you, we find our sufficiency and our identity. You make a way for us at every turn. There is none like you,  and we are so grateful that you call us beloved, and we can call you our Abba Father, the Giver of Life, and The Giver of All Things.

We bow before you with humble hearts and gratitude for all you do for us. We praise you and give you honor because you are worthy of praise. Thank you for blessing us more than we deserve.  We love you and recommit our lives to you. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you for our Messiah and Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.

May your day be filled with His peace and joy, friends!
You are loved,
Debbie

Prayer For June 10th

June 10, 2021

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another day of life. Thank you for another chance to make a difference for your kingdom. When we are going through struggles and dealing with adversity and losses, we often feel weak, broken, and fragile. We feel like we can’t deal with one more thing, yet more things come. When we look back on our lives, we can see how our struggles have made us stronger as you have helped us overcome and conqueror things we didn’t think we could survive. Help us remember we have the Holy Spirit living within us, and we have the same power that raised Christ from the dead within us. You are not fragile, and therefore we are not fragile. Jesus, The Lion of The Tribe of Judah, is roaring within us. We may fall, but you pick us up. You help us rise like a phoenix and bring beauty from the ashes of our lives.

The things we tell ourselves matter. The things we believe matter. You tell us, “as a man thinketh, so he is.” Help us meditate on your Word night and day, so your truth comes alive in us…so we remember your promises…so we have faith over fear and don’t rely on how we feel or on what we see, but on what you say.

We know our adversary wants us to believe that we are weak and broken beyond repair…that we are fragile and are unable to be healed or restored…that we have no voice or purpose.  Help us remember that he is the father of lies and a deceiver. He uses the same attacks and strategies that he has used since the beginning of time. He attacks our minds, our relationships, our resources, our health, and our loved ones to undermine our faith and make us doubt you. Help us remember we are hard-pressed on every side but not crushed. We are persecuted, but we are not alone or abandoned. We are struck down but not destroyed. Help us see ourselves and our circumstances through your eyes. Please help us remember your goodness and your track record of seeing us through. Please help us speak your life-giving and life-changing truths over ourselves and to others. Help us rise up in your strength and power today and keep fighting the good fight. Help us be courageous and unafraid as we picture you walking with us today. Thank you for being our ever-present source of help in times of trouble. We are grateful your angel armies surround us, and Jesus is interceding for us. We are grateful that with your help, we cannot lose or fail. We thank you and praise you, Father, that the battle has been won and our enemy defeated. We are thankful for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.

May you feel strong in His power and might today, friends!

In His love,
Debbie
