Prayer For June 18th

June 18, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

On this day when we celebrate fathers, we thank you for being our Abba Father.  We thank you for always being there for us. We are so grateful that we can count on you for wise counsel, for guidance, for protection, for provision, for comfort, encouragement, support, acceptance and unconditional love. You are a good, good father and we are so blessed to have you in our lives.

Thank you for the earthly fathers you have given us. We thank you for all who stood in the gap and took on the role of a father… we lift to you all who are sad, lonely and missing loved ones today…we pray for those who never knew their dads…we pray for those who could never have children…we lift up all who had fathers who were not good dads… we pray for all who are estranged or separated… we pray for every father who has lost a child or is unable to be with his children…we lift up all the single mom’s and dad’s who are parenting by themselves… for those whose fathers or children are ill, disabled or have things like Alzheimer’s or dementia…for those who have special needs children who are unable to speak and they’ve never heard the words “I love you Dad”… for everyone who has a hard time on this day for whatever reason, Father…we ask for your blessing to be upon each one … you see each hurting heart…you hear each prayer…we ask that each one would feel your comfort, peace, presence,  and strength…may they find your energy, your wisdom and your provision to see them through… please pour out your grace and mercy and meet each need as only you can.

We pray for anyone who is  not able to relate to you as a loving Father because of the way they were treated by their earthly dad. Please clean out those deep wounds so they may heal. May they find you in that place of pain, and realize that you are not like mere man…you will never leave us…you will never hurt, betray or forsake us…there is no one that can love us like you do.  Thank you for being a father to the fatherless…we are grateful that there is nothing that can separate us from your love.

We thank you Father for all that awaits us…we thank you that one day we will be healed physically, mentally and emotionally from the pain, hurts and traumas of this life…we thank you that one day all will be made right and death will no longer separate us from those we love. We thank you and praise you for who you are and all you do to show your great love and care for us. We love you, Father. In the name of your Son we pray, Amen.

Blessings be upon you!
In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 8th

June 8, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day life. We thank you for your mercies that are new each morning…we thank you that each day is a new opportunity to do better and be better…that each new day is full of potential miracles, hope and promise…each day we wake up is a new day to sing your praises and proclaim the truth that you are faithful, just and righteous and our faith and hope in you is not misplaced…you are our rock, our fortress, our source of peace and strength and The Great I AM whose word never returns void…how blessed we are that you call us beloved and heirs to your Kingdom…how blessed we are that you made a way for us by sending Jesus…help us to remember these things as we go throughout our day…we have so much to be thankful for each day…every breath we take and every beat of our heart is a gift from you…may we live this day to the fullest and not squander it…help us to be patient in the midst of stressful situations and when things go wrong…help us to trust that anything that happens to us has first passed through your hands and that you have allowed it…help prayer to be our first response instead of complaint…help us to realize that delays might be for our protection…help us to live with eternity in mind and always be aware that there is more going on around us than what we can see and perceive…

Please order our day, Lord…please put anyone in our path that you want us to share with, to pray for, to encourage…to love on…may we be mindful that there are angels unaware around us…may we never stop  proclaiming your goodness or sharing the hope of salvation with those who don’t know you…may people see you in us…may your light shine forth from us…even in the midst of our struggles, may our actions and words point the way to you…it’s said that people won’t remember what you say, they won’t remember the things that you do, but they will remember how you made them feel…may we be a source of encouragement and kindness…may we share the same comfort you’ve given us…may we make people feel that they are valued, cared for and important…may we be known for our love for you and for being like Jesus…

Please fill our lives to overflowing with your joy and peace…may we remember the joy of our salvation and all the times you have seen us through in our lives…may we live with an attitude of gratitude and a sense of purpose…we woke up today so it means that you are not through with us yet…may we serve you well and bring glory to you in all that we think, say and do. Please bless us so we may in turn bless others. We thank you that we have a Savior in whose name we can pray. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends! You are loved!

In His love,

Debbie

A note from Debbie

May 31, 2017

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to apologize for my lack of posts this month. I have been ill all month…after some troubling things on my blood work at the beginning of the month, my doctor changed some things up in my treatment and my energy level immediately plummeted. I found myself having trouble keeping up with everything… I have had multiple viruses and infections over the last month and this last week has found me with multiple things going on in my body at once…I have not been this ill in a very long time. I hope to be back posting again regularly very soon.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I pray over all of you always and wish you all of God’s richest blessings..

Blessings, hugs and love to you all,

Debbie

Prayer For May 19th

May 19, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Help us to remember daily to put on our spiritual armor so we can stand fast against the battles that rage against us…help us remember the things that empower us, such as what the Bible calls, “the word of our testimony”…every time we speak about the things that you have done…the more we share with others about the trials you have seen us through, it is a witness and a testimony that encourages others… and we encourage ourselves at the same time…when we remember your faithfulness, the enemy loses…when we stand fast in the midst of adversity, he is defeated…he wants us to believe that you are not faithful…he wants us to feel hopeless…he wants us to forget your promises and the truth of your Word…he wants to drive us away from you, but he cannot snatch us from your hand.

The Bible says your Word is sharper than any sword… that it is alive and powerful…help us to remember to use it to overcome all that we face. Please speak to our hearts and convict us to read your Word and memorize it so it becomes a tool in fighting the attacks of the enemy… whether we are in the middle of a crisis, whether we are dealing with illness, disability or injuries, or whether we are just trying to heal our wounds from all we have been through… please help us to remember with gratitude and joy the many times you have been faithful …not only in our own lives but the lives of others…your Word says the stories written in the Bible are for our encouragement…they are to show us how people from the beginning of time have dealt with adversity and pain and found you to be faithful…you wrote these things as a gift to us so we can have hope and find strength and courage…so we can know that our hope in you is not misplaced. May we heed the lessons you have given us…

Father, we ask for courage…we ask for deeper faith…we ask to feel contented knowing you are with us and you are in control…may our days start and end with praises and thankful hearts for all you’ve done and all you promise to do…we thank you for turning our tests into a testimony and our messes into a message…nothing is wasted in our lives…may people see you in us, especially during our times of struggle… as we go through times of adversity, may we have patient faith like Job… may a strong, mature, faith filled warrior rise up in each of us as we press on towards victory in every area of our lives…please pour your blessings and grace out upon my friends and meet each need, spoken and unspoken …we humbly ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Prayer For May 18th

May 18, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Father,

We know that the enemy comes to rob, steal and destroy…he will often use people as his instruments of destruction…help us to guard our hearts…help us to be wise and discerning… help us to hear your still small voice…help us to learn to trust the intuition that you give us…help us to be obedient and trust that you only want the best for us and if you close a door or tell us “no”,  it’s for our own good…it’s for our protection…it’s because you have something better in mind…

If anyone is dealing with emotional trauma and stress from someone who is abusive in any form…please give them your wisdom to know how to deal and cope with what’s going on…you know the stress, you know the strain…you see the tears, the crushed dreams, the frustrations, the rejection, the battered self-esteem…you know everyone who has been slandered, lied to and cheated on… everyone who has had their reputation smeared and everyone who has been gossiped about…you know each one who deals with someone who is never wrong and always places the blame with others. You see those who are beat down and battle weary…those who are doubting themselves and feeling like their world is turned upside down… please heal hurting hearts…please restore all that the enemy has taken…please help the wounded and injured to find peace…please give them hope that all they have gone through is not in vain…help them to remember that Jesus understands because was rejected, despised, lied about, betrayed, gossiped about and slandered…He knows what it is like to be innocent and yet condemned…

We ask for your help to overcome, Lord…we ask  you to set the captives free…no matter what the situation…for anyone is in any kind of mental, emotional or physical environment that is not healthy…please show your grace and mercy and help them find deliverance from their situations.

It seems as though we have regressed as a society…everywhere we turn there is hostility, anger, division, arrogance, ignorance, contempt and deception…this world so needs you and we know you need us to suit up and show up as prayer warriors for this troubled world…help us to do what we can, where we are…even if we are going through struggles of our own… instead of being overwhelmed, prompt us to pray…help us turn our worry time to prayer time and leave every struggle and upset in your hands.

Please give us wisdom and discernment to know when to speak and when to stay silent… we ask for your help so we respond well when confronted with hard things…help us to make prayer and faith our first response…help us to be slow to anger and quick to pray…slow to speak and quick to pray…may we have your countenance and sense of peace no matter what is going on around us. We ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

God bless you friends!
Much love in Him,

Debbie

Prayer For May 17th

May 17, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day. Thank you for keeping us safe through the night. Lord, we lift up to you all who didn’t get refreshing sleep…please pour out your grace, strength and mercy this morning…we reach out to touch the hem of your garment and receive from you…we ask you to meet us at the place of our deepest and greatest need…we want only what you think is best for us…we know anything you allow to touch our lives is part of a greater plan that only you can see, but you also tell us to knock, seek and ask and to pray without ceasing… we are asking according to your will to heal, to open your storehouses, to give relief, to protect, to help us rise up and walk forward in this day filled with what only you can give…

Forgive us for the times when we take you for granted…for the times we say we are too busy…the times we put everything else before you…the times we don’t give you the respect and adoration that you deserve…forgive us for the times we disappoint you and let you down…for the times we don’t trust as we should or do the things you ask us to do…help us to do better and be better…help us to ask “what now” instead of “why”…help us not to settle in any area of our lives…help us to make the most of each day and to treasure them as the precious gift they are…help us to fulfill the purpose and calling you’ve placed on each of our lives…help us to live with a “can do” attitude, confident not in our own abilities, but in yours that are within us… help us to remember that one faith filled person can do extraordinary things…help us to have a willing, brave heart that is unafraid to say “yes” to you…you do ask us to do hard things…you do call on us to die to ourselves so you can be resurrected in us…so you can transform us to be more like Jesus…help us to be a shining light on a hill that points the way to you…help us so we don’t lose our saltiness…please renew a right spirit within us and cast off all the chains that the enemy has used to hold us back and discourage us…

We commit our lives to you…we commit this day to you…we commit our families to you and we ask that this day you will be glorified in all that we think, say and do…fill us now, Lord…we come before you with praise in our hearts for who you are and all you do and we thank you that we have a risen Savior in whose name we can ask all these things. Amen.

Praying blessings upon you friends. You are loved!

In His love,

Debbie

Prayer For May 16th

May 16, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you that you for the ability to choose our thoughts and to take them captive …we thank you that we have the choice of what we choose to think about and where we place our focus and attention…we are grateful for the Bible that gives us instructions on how to find peace and rest …help us to meditate on your Word and help us to hear your voice…the enemy is always looking for ways to discourage us and to keep us from turning to you…help us to plant our roots deep into your Word…may your truth and promises saturate our minds so we become impervious to the lies and discouraging words the enemy tries to use to defeat us …you give us the shield of faith to protect us from the adversary’s fiery darts and you give us the helmet of salvation to protect our minds…Your Word brings life, hope and healing, but we can’t just be hearers of the Word, we must be doers as well…we have to put into action the things you tell us to do…we have to take steps of faith…we can’t let the seeds of doubt, despair and discouragement take over and crowd out your promises, truth and guidance.

You never said this life would be easy, but you said your grace would see us through…so many are going through such very, very hard things, Lord…you see all and feel everything they feel… you know where each one is at…there are things that only you can comfort…there are things that only you are strong enough and powerful enough to help them overcome…please touch each person who is screaming on the inside, afraid to share the thoughts in their head…the ones who just are so done with life…the one’s who just long for a break from the struggles…the ones who just don’t know how to keep hanging on…

You have the answers that we can’t begin to have…we know that if you can bring new life and hope from the cross and the heinous things that Jesus went through, you can do the same from the horrible situations that those among us are dealing with… we lay our burdens, cares and pain on your altar…we give you everything that is beyond us…every situation that is wrong, unfair and has no options…we ask for your angel armies to surround those who need protecting. We ask for your Holy Spirit to comfort those who are crushed in spirit and we ask you to bring healing to those who are feeling broken in body, mind or spirit…we are asking in faith believing that you are still the God of the impossible, The Alpha and Omega, The Creator of All and The Great I Am and nothing is impossible for you…we ask these things in Jesus’ name and we thank you in advance for all you will do. Amen

May you be filled with His hope, comfort and peace!

In His love,
Debbie
