Prayer For Aug. 3rd

August 3, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day.  We come before you and ask that you would forgive us of our sins…search us and know our hearts and cleanse us of anything that is not pleasing to you…we ask you to fill us with your Holy Spirit…empty us of ourselves…take your rightful place on the throne of our lives…we lift our eyes to you and bow our hearts before you with gratitude for your grace, mercy and forgiveness…

We praise you for your mighty works…there is none like you, Lord…help us to daily carry with us  the joy of Christ’s birth and resurrection…when we start to feel overwhelmed with the cares and sorrows of this world help us to remember the cross and the empty tomb…help us to remember we serve a risen King…You have the last word in all things…we do not grieve as those who have no hope…victory is ours because we are yours…this world is not our home…this is the dark before the dawn and joy everlasting is coming… You, the God of angel armies, knows us by name…You, The Creator of all, who holds each star in place and sees each sparrow that falls, know us so well, you know the number of hairs on our heads…your thoughts for us outnumber the grains of sands on the earth…we are known and loved and cherished by you…we can never begin to understand all that you are or all that you do…you are so beyond anything we can begin to understand, but how grateful we are that one day we will see and understand what is beyond our grasp in this life…

Lord, we look to you, the author and finisher of our faith. We thank you for your comfort, your joy, your peace…we thank you for your strength, your grace and for all that is and for all that is yet to come…may we see your hand in all things and trust you for the things we don’t yet see or understand…may our questions be replaced with trust and assured confidence that you are in control and you do all things well…may we remember that you are the same yesterday, today and forever and not one word of yours shall return void…help us to live unafraid because you are with us…may people see you in us and may we bring glory and honor to you in all that we say and do…we commit this day to you and all that’s in it and thank you that we can ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we come before you today, we ask you to renew a right spirit within us…please grant us your peace as we lift up to you our feelings of hurt, frustration, anger and anguish…we give you all the situations in our lives that are causing us distress…we give you all the things that are beyond our control…we lift up to you our troubled relationships and the difficult people in our lives…we lay our desires and dreams before you and ask for your will to be done.

We don’t want to put you in a box, Father…we don’t want to limit you or your plans for us in any way…we can’t begin to think, dream or imagine the things that you have in store for us…may we never get in your way, quench your Spirit or hinder the work you want to do in us or through us…help us to trust you more and doubt you less…

We thank you for your patience with us…we thank you for your comfort, companionship and faithfulness…we thank you for seeing past all that we are to all  to what we will be…we thank you in advance for meeting our needs.  We give you all praise, glory and honor and thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we can ask these things. Amen

Blessings to you!

Prayer For August 1st

August 1, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day and this new month. Father we commit this day and each day of this month to you. Please go before us and make the rough road smooths. Please guide us on your path and lead us where you want us to go. Please grant us wisdom, knowledge and discernment that we might know your will and forsake our own. May each day find us drawing closer to you and becoming more like Jesus.

Please touch everyone who is reading this…may they feel your nearness…may they feel confident in who they are in you…please open your storehouses and meet their needs…please open their hearts and speak to them of things of you that they’ve never known about you…may they be so in awe of you…may they fall in love with you like never before…please pour out your grace and mercy and grant them healing emotionally, mentally, physically…may they rise like a phoenix out of the broken places in their lives…we reach out to touch the hem of your garment and to receive from you this day…

This year is going by so fast…please help us to treasure our days and take nothing for granted…help us to live with eternity in mind … help us to set aside the things that press on us and distract us and  keep us from doing the truly important things that you’ve called us to…prompt us to make the neglected phone calls, letters and visits and to do the things that we have put off until “some day”…prompt us to speak to those who don’t know you…may your Spirit remind us to pray  and to be about your Kingdom business…please fill us and use us Father and help us to live our lives in a way that we won’t have regrets… for those who are hindered by guilt, shame or regrets, may they find your peace and freedom…you’ve already set us free, but too often we don’t walk in that freedom…help us to not be prisoners to our past, to our pain, to the haunting words of others, to unforgiveness, bitterness or anger…may your voice and your truth shine the light in the dark areas of our hearts, lives and minds and set us free so we can  be all that you’ve called us to be.

Thank you, Father…thank you for loving us,  for walking with us and beside us and for calling us your beloved. We give you all praise, glory and honor and offer this humble prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends. You are loved.

In Him,

Debbie

Prayer For June 18th

June 18, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

On this day when we celebrate fathers, we thank you for being our Abba Father.  We thank you for always being there for us. We are so grateful that we can count on you for wise counsel, for guidance, for protection, for provision, for comfort, encouragement, support, acceptance and unconditional love. You are a good, good father and we are so blessed to have you in our lives.

Thank you for the earthly fathers you have given us. We thank you for all who stood in the gap and took on the role of a father… we lift to you all who are sad, lonely and missing loved ones today…we pray for those who never knew their dads…we pray for those who could never have children…we lift up all who had fathers who were not good dads… we pray for all who are estranged or separated… we pray for every father who has lost a child or is unable to be with his children…we lift up all the single mom’s and dad’s who are parenting by themselves… for those whose fathers or children are ill, disabled or have things like Alzheimer’s or dementia…for those who have special needs children who are unable to speak and they’ve never heard the words “I love you Dad”… for everyone who has a hard time on this day for whatever reason, Father…we ask for your blessing to be upon each one … you see each hurting heart…you hear each prayer…we ask that each one would feel your comfort, peace, presence,  and strength…may they find your energy, your wisdom and your provision to see them through… please pour out your grace and mercy and meet each need as only you can.

We pray for anyone who is  not able to relate to you as a loving Father because of the way they were treated by their earthly dad. Please clean out those deep wounds so they may heal. May they find you in that place of pain, and realize that you are not like mere man…you will never leave us…you will never hurt, betray or forsake us…there is no one that can love us like you do.  Thank you for being a father to the fatherless…we are grateful that there is nothing that can separate us from your love.

We thank you Father for all that awaits us…we thank you that one day we will be healed physically, mentally and emotionally from the pain, hurts and traumas of this life…we thank you that one day all will be made right and death will no longer separate us from those we love. We thank you and praise you for who you are and all you do to show your great love and care for us. We love you, Father. In the name of your Son we pray, Amen.

Blessings be upon you!
In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 8th

June 8, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day life. We thank you for your mercies that are new each morning…we thank you that each day is a new opportunity to do better and be better…that each new day is full of potential miracles, hope and promise…each day we wake up is a new day to sing your praises and proclaim the truth that you are faithful, just and righteous and our faith and hope in you is not misplaced…you are our rock, our fortress, our source of peace and strength and The Great I AM whose word never returns void…how blessed we are that you call us beloved and heirs to your Kingdom…how blessed we are that you made a way for us by sending Jesus…help us to remember these things as we go throughout our day…we have so much to be thankful for each day…every breath we take and every beat of our heart is a gift from you…may we live this day to the fullest and not squander it…help us to be patient in the midst of stressful situations and when things go wrong…help us to trust that anything that happens to us has first passed through your hands and that you have allowed it…help prayer to be our first response instead of complaint…help us to realize that delays might be for our protection…help us to live with eternity in mind and always be aware that there is more going on around us than what we can see and perceive…

Please order our day, Lord…please put anyone in our path that you want us to share with, to pray for, to encourage…to love on…may we be mindful that there are angels unaware around us…may we never stop  proclaiming your goodness or sharing the hope of salvation with those who don’t know you…may people see you in us…may your light shine forth from us…even in the midst of our struggles, may our actions and words point the way to you…it’s said that people won’t remember what you say, they won’t remember the things that you do, but they will remember how you made them feel…may we be a source of encouragement and kindness…may we share the same comfort you’ve given us…may we make people feel that they are valued, cared for and important…may we be known for our love for you and for being like Jesus…

Please fill our lives to overflowing with your joy and peace…may we remember the joy of our salvation and all the times you have seen us through in our lives…may we live with an attitude of gratitude and a sense of purpose…we woke up today so it means that you are not through with us yet…may we serve you well and bring glory to you in all that we think, say and do. Please bless us so we may in turn bless others. We thank you that we have a Savior in whose name we can pray. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends! You are loved!

In His love,

Debbie

A note from Debbie

May 31, 2017

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to apologize for my lack of posts this month. I have been ill all month…after some troubling things on my blood work at the beginning of the month, my doctor changed some things up in my treatment and my energy level immediately plummeted. I found myself having trouble keeping up with everything… I have had multiple viruses and infections over the last month and this last week has found me with multiple things going on in my body at once…I have not been this ill in a very long time. I hope to be back posting again regularly very soon.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I pray over all of you always and wish you all of God’s richest blessings..

Blessings, hugs and love to you all,

Debbie

Prayer For May 19th

May 19, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Help us to remember daily to put on our spiritual armor so we can stand fast against the battles that rage against us…help us remember the things that empower us, such as what the Bible calls, “the word of our testimony”…every time we speak about the things that you have done…the more we share with others about the trials you have seen us through, it is a witness and a testimony that encourages others… and we encourage ourselves at the same time…when we remember your faithfulness, the enemy loses…when we stand fast in the midst of adversity, he is defeated…he wants us to believe that you are not faithful…he wants us to feel hopeless…he wants us to forget your promises and the truth of your Word…he wants to drive us away from you, but he cannot snatch us from your hand.

The Bible says your Word is sharper than any sword… that it is alive and powerful…help us to remember to use it to overcome all that we face. Please speak to our hearts and convict us to read your Word and memorize it so it becomes a tool in fighting the attacks of the enemy… whether we are in the middle of a crisis, whether we are dealing with illness, disability or injuries, or whether we are just trying to heal our wounds from all we have been through… please help us to remember with gratitude and joy the many times you have been faithful …not only in our own lives but the lives of others…your Word says the stories written in the Bible are for our encouragement…they are to show us how people from the beginning of time have dealt with adversity and pain and found you to be faithful…you wrote these things as a gift to us so we can have hope and find strength and courage…so we can know that our hope in you is not misplaced. May we heed the lessons you have given us…

Father, we ask for courage…we ask for deeper faith…we ask to feel contented knowing you are with us and you are in control…may our days start and end with praises and thankful hearts for all you’ve done and all you promise to do…we thank you for turning our tests into a testimony and our messes into a message…nothing is wasted in our lives…may people see you in us, especially during our times of struggle… as we go through times of adversity, may we have patient faith like Job… may a strong, mature, faith filled warrior rise up in each of us as we press on towards victory in every area of our lives…please pour your blessings and grace out upon my friends and meet each need, spoken and unspoken …we humbly ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
