Prayer For June 19th

June 19, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this new day.  We are grateful that no matter where we go, your presence is with us and your hand is guiding us. We are grateful that you promise to give us your peace at all times. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on you and to meditate on your Word that we might embrace the peace that you offer us this day.

Lord, please transform our thinking and renew our minds. Help us to have the mind of Christ and to live with an eternal perspective as we go about our day. Help us to remember that our citizenship is in heaven and we are only passing through. Help us to make the most of the opportunities that you put before us and to trust in your plan and timetable for fulfilling your promises and the work that you’ve begun in us.

So many are dealing with such hard issues that there are no easy answers to or quick fixes for…You are the God Who Sees…You are the God of All Comfort and Compassion…Please hold each one so they find rest in You…please help people to find relief…bring people to stand with them and to help shoulder their burdens…provide the needed resources that seem elusive…make a way where there seems to be no way…open doors that they don’t even know exist…You are our way-maker, our burden-bearer, our chain-breaker and so many need you to intervene with miracles…we ask in faith believing that all things are possible with you and we can do all things through you. Please move among us as we do all that we can do and trust you for the rest.

You know every need, spoken and unspoken. You know the silent cries of weary hearts. We bow before you and we trust and believe and thank you in advance for the provision that is on the way…for the answers to prayers that are on their way and for the sustaining grace that you offer in abundance. May your plans and purposes be accomplished in our lives today. We surrender our will to you and ask that your will be done in us and through us. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 18th

June 18, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As we gather today, I lift my friends to you and I pray for your blessings to be upon them. I ask you to breathe new life into them…new life into their hopes and dreams. Open their eyes to see themselves, their circumstances and you with new eyes. May they find all that they lack in you…may they find healing, hope, and renewal in every area of their lives…may they feel a new excitement in their relationship with you…may they find their cups overflowing with your joy, laughter and your peace. May they feel your Living Water fill the dry barren places in their hearts…may they find your healing balm to heal their wounds… where life has beaten them down, may they find your hand to raise them up…may they find release from the things that have kept them from being all that you know they can be…may they feel born again with a new zeal for life and living… set them free from long-held hurts, damaging words, and painful memories…may they believe and receive all  that you have for them.

Help us to rise up from our places of pain and brokenness to be the warriors that you call us to be.  Help us to live unafraid and unencumbered…help us to live free from the worry of what others think or say about us…help us to live to please only you…help us to cast aside anything that is not of you…help us to see ourselves as victorious men and women who serve a Mighty God who does not fail. We are heirs to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, help us to claim the divine heritage that is ours…we slip and fall and lose ourselves in the lies of the enemy, the pain of life and the judgments and opinions of others…help us to rise up with holy boldness and stand firm, embracing all that you have equipped us with…help us to see ourselves as more than conquerors.

Help us to remember who we serve…help us to remember whose we are and who upholds us…who believes in us…who has ordained our days…You are the Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and End…you have the last word in all things. Things are not over until you say they are over.  Our lives have meaning and purpose because you say they do. We matter because you say we do. We have hope because you say we do.

We stand with arms outstretched to receive all you have for us. Cleanse us and fill us and help us to live this day in the fullness of your joy and with your peace in our hearts. We ask you to take your rightful place in our lives and we ask you to speak to us, lead us and guide us and help us to rejoice as we praise you for who you are. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen

May you have joy-filled day friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 17th

June 17, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

You are the God of hope, peace, and love. Please fill our hearts with your joy and peace and help us to trust in you so that our hearts may overflow with your hope. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and may we walk confidently and boldly knowing that we are held and loved by you, the Creator of the universe, who knows each star by name and the number of hairs on our heads. Remind us when we feel weak and weary to come to you to find rest and refreshment. Help us to claim and lay hold of your promises before we try to do things in our own power and strength. Help us to remember the gifts and tools you give us to not only survive but to thrive under any condition. Help us to live in expectation of seeing your goodness and faithfulness.

Help us not to worry or be anxious about anything, to pray about everything, and to thank you for all things. Help us not to lean on our own understanding as our perceptions and feelings are not always accurate. Help us to seek your wisdom, knowledge, and discernment in all things and to acknowledge you in all our ways, that we may walk in your truth and on the path that you think is best for us.

Please guard our hearts and minds and fill us with your words of comfort and truth. May we be filled with your light and love and may it overflow onto all around us. May we wash our wounds in your Word so we may find comfort and healing. May we trust you for our needs and find rest as we wait for your timing in all things. Strengthen us, Lord. Work within us to accomplish your will and purposes for our lives. Help us to be more like Jesus. Help us to draw closer to you than we have ever been. May we see signs of your nearness.  Remind us to take time to look around at the beauty of your world…may we be like children and be in awe of your creativity in all that you’ve created in our world. May we be sensitive to the needs of those around us.  Lead us to those who need an encouraging word or to be reminded that they are loved and that they are seen. Please work in us and through us for your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus that we ask these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you and your day friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 16th

June 16, 2019

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

On this day we celebrate fathers, we thank you for being our amazing Abba Father. Thank you for always being there for us. We are so grateful that we can count on you for wise counsel, for guidance, for protection, for provision, for comfort, encouragement, support, acceptance and unconditional love.

We thank you for our earthly fathers and all of the special people who have cared for us and filled our lives with love. We ask for your blessing to be upon each one…

We know many are missing or mourning loved ones today…For every person who is missing their father, husband or grandfather…for all of the father’s who have lost a child…for all who want to be father’s but don’t have children…for all who are unable to be with their loved ones… please rain down your grace, mercy, and strength to see them through this day with all of its painful reminders. For all who are experiencing their first Father’s Day without their loved ones, may they feel your nearness, comfort, peace, and strength…

We lift up the single mom’s and dad’s who are parenting by themselves. We ask you to meet their every need. Please bring people to come and stand beside them and help them with the tangible things that are just so hard for one person to do alone.

Sometimes people are not able to relate to you as a loving Father because of the way they were treated by their earthly dads…may each one who is wounded find your healing and learn to trust in your love, goodness, and faithfulness… there is no one that can love us like you do… people may let us down,  but you never will and we are so grateful for that.

For all who have fathers who are ill or have things like Alzheimer’s or dementia…for all who have special children who are unable to speak and they’ve never heard the words, “I love you Dad…” please bless each one and comfort them … there are so many things to cause pain in this life, but one day all will be made right and how you intended things to be. We will be with you forever and we will be healed physically, mentally, emotionally and death and all of the hard, painful things of this life will be swallowed up in victory…we will know the fullness of your joy and peace and will feel more love than we knew was possible. Thank you for all that awaits and all that is to come! We thank you and praise you for being with us every moment of every day.  In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

May you feel overwhelmed by God’s great love for you today!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For June 15th

June 15, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

As we gather together today, many are hurting as they are missing loved ones. Father, please comfort each one. May they feel your nearness and presence. You tell us that you comfort all who are mourn… that you are near to the brokenhearted and you bind their wounds and collect their tears…thank you for being our ever-present source of help and strength, no matter what we face.

Paul in his letter to the Philippians, encouraged them, and us, to rejoice in all things…he wrote while imprisoned and chained to a jailer 24/7…he wrote not knowing if he would be condemned to die when he went before the court…yet, he could say that he had joy because He knew the peace and mind of Christ…he knew of the joyful things that awaited him as a believer…he knew that to be absent from the body was to be present with you and he was content, no matter what his circumstances, because he knew that you were being glorified in him whether he was imprisoned or preaching somewhere…he lived to serve you and to share the good news of the gospel…he endured beatings, stonings, shipwrecks, imprisonment, he had times where he was hungry and was hunted…yet he was able to rejoice and say that all of that was worth knowing Jesus.

Thank you for the examples you’ve given us of people like Paul who had great faith that inspires us during our own times of hardship and pain…thank you for showing us that it is possible to have your joy and peace even in times of adversity, hardship, and loss…thank you for giving us teaching and guidance so we know how to find your peace…so we learn how to quiet our minds from anxious and fearful thoughts and so we can live with hope in our hearts…please help us to dig deeper into your Word so we can guard our hearts and minds and to grow to be more like Jesus. Help us to have Jesus’ heart and mind and to find His peace that the world can’t give or take away and to have His joy, that is our strength and defies our circumstances.

Thank you for being so faithfully attentive to us and our needs. Thank you for the times of refreshment and respite you give us in the midst of hard times. Thank you for your Spirit that is with us to comfort us and guide us. We are grateful that Jesus is interceding for us…what an amazing thing to think that He utters our name and prays over us. We are so very blessed to be loved by you. Thank you, Lord. We gratefully and humbly praise you and offer our prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen

May you be encouraged, comforted and blessed friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Prayer For June 14th

June 14, 2019

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,

Thank you for fighting for us and protecting us. Thank you for caring about our needs and our spiritual well-being. Thank you for loving our children even more than we do. Please help us to remember that we are in spiritual battles with an enemy who is relentless in his efforts to harm us and those we love. Too often we forget who is truly behind all the troubles, trials and evil in this world. Help us to stay motivated to keep standing in the gap and to keep praying for those we love who are struggling, and for those who don’t know you. Help us to be consistent in our prayers for our leaders, for those in need and for all who are persecuted for their faith in you.

Please open our eyes to the spiritual realm that is around us. Help us to see your hand in all things. Please grant us your wisdom, knowledge, and discernment. Help us to be led by the Holy Spirit. Help us to treasure our days and to live in such a way that we won’t have regrets.

Help us to run the race before us with endurance…help us to not grow tired or weary. Help us to remember that your power is in us, you are for us, you stand beside us, and you surround us with your angel armies. There is no foe that can defeat us when you are by our side….it’s not hard to imagine how our motivation would change and the way we lived our lives would change, if we could see into the spiritual realms that surround us…we would live our lives differently if we could see how real the battles are that are going on around us…we would be sure of our calling …sure of your presence and power… sure of what is important in this life and the next …give us eyes to see and ears to hear you clearly above all else. We commit this day to you and all that’s in it. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen

May God bless you in ways you can’t imagine!

In His love,
Debbie
