Prayer for January 5th

January 5, 2014

Hello, Friends! I am feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Dear Lord,Life is not easy for us even as Christ Followers. You said we would have tribulation in this world, but you reminded us that you have overcome the world. Please help us not to be confused or dismayed by the things that come against us. Help us to cling to the thought we are over-comers and we can do all things through Christ.

Lord, we ask for all those we love that don’t know you, would you speak to their hearts, so they may have a saving knowledge of who you are. We don’t know how anyone makes it through this life without you. Please bind the enemy, soften hearts and remove the blinders that keep them recognizing that you are The Way, The Truth and The Life. We pray for their deliverance from sin, from addictions, from bad influences and from anything that is tearing apart their lives and the lives of those who love them.

Lord, we ask that you would help us to deal with the adversity in our lives. Help us to cope with injustice and cruelty and those things that we are powerless to change on our own. Strengthen our faith and teach us to pray effectively that we might stand strong against the things that Satan uses to divide and inflict pain. Help us to realize the power in prayer…help us to see first hand, the power that believers have when we join our voices together as one, to bring change.

Lord, we know the enemy is seeking to destroy all that he can before his time is over. We ask for every marriage that he has in his grip, to be set free in the name of Jesus. For every person that is ill, we ask for healing. For every person that is in need, we ask for provision. For every person who is so grief-stricken and feels so hopeless that they want to end their life, we pray for intervention now Lord. For all those who seek answers, direction, guidance and peace, we ask that you would speak to their hearts and give them the gifts that no man can give.

Lord, help us not to cower in fear of the enemy. Help us to stand firm when we feel like running. Help us to remember there is an army of heavenly angels fighting in a realm we cannot see… and if we could see, we surely would not be afraid…we would know beyond a doubt, that no weapon formed against will prosper. Please strengthen and encourage each of us today, Lord… pick us up, from what feels like a miry pit and put our feet not only on solid ground, but also on the path that you choose for us to be on. Oh, Lord may we sound the battle cry today…may this be the day we say to the enemy…you will not discourage me, you will not hinder me, you will have no victory over me or my family in the name of Jesus, you must get behind me and flee…hear our united voices we pray, Lord and may we go forth boldly this day in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Always praying for you my friends and believing you will see the hand of God on your life!

In His love,
