Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

So many scriptures speak of having confidence in you alone… Yet, so often our actions show that we don’t have confidence in you the we should. Your Word says…

YOU will be our confidence and YOU will keep our foot from falling.
Your Word says… that the fear of the Lord is our strong confidence and that your children will have a place of refuge.
Your Word says… that we have this confidence… that if we ask anything according to YOUR will, YOU hear us.

Lord, over and over, we’re told in your Word not to put our confidence in the flesh, in princes, in strong or powerful men or rulers. Oh, Lord, may our hope and confidence only be anchored on you and in your promises.

Help us to remember and write on our hearts your many works and deeds that prove our faith, trust, hope and confidence in you are not misplaced. Just as you provided manna in the wilderness to provide sustenance…you parted the Red Seas to provide a way of escape from enemies…you provided deliverance from the Lion for Daniel…you healed the blind and the sick from disease and infirmity…you gave Stephen a vision to show him He was not alone as he was dying…Lord, over and over, you show us YOU are our strength, our shield, our hope, our provider, our deliverer and our Savior!

You tell us we can do all things through you and that you will supply all of our needs. Help us Lord to go boldly forth today and every day, with the steadfast conviction that we will be okay because you are for us…and if you are for us, it doesn’t matter who is against us. May that knowledge be enough to calm our fears and restless minds and to go forth confidently with a sense of security in you today. We praise you Lord. We thank you. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen

Praying you feel His peace and presence in a mighty way today!

In His Love,
Debbie
