Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise you for another day of life. We ask that we might not waste it. We pray that today will be more than just a day we just survive. We ask that you will draw us unto yourself and speak your words of wisdom to our hearts. We pray for your loving compassion to transform and renew us. Lord we pray for your peace to engulf us. We pray for your clarity and wisdom so we might understand the Scriptures that they might change us to be more Christ like.

Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would intercede for those who just don’t have the words to pray today. So many are seeing their worlds collapsing under mounds of grief and life changing events. Lord, help them to trust you enough to not pray with restrictions. So many pray wanting their will and not yours and then they lose hope when their prayers aren’t answered. So many pray asking for peace and then they return to their old way of thinking and doing things. Help us to be changed by our faith in you. Help us to find that place of trust that knows you only want the best for your children… may we find rest in the choices you make for us.

Lord, you love us unconditionally and you accept us just the way we are…but you love us too much to leave us in the state we were in when we found you. Everything we go through in life is designed to change us to prepare us for eternity. You allow these hard things as a loving parent, knowing that this momentary pain is temporary and it is working for our good. We know as parents the hard things we have to do for our children’s own good…what you allow to happen to us is the same principle. You see the bigger picture our minds can’t see or grasp now. Lord, may these things speak peace into our hearts as we pray. May they bring light to the dark places in our minds and souls. May they not make us bitter or angry towards you. May they bring us to the place of recognition and submission that we need to be with you, Lord. You are full of love and compassion towards your children. Help us to feel that and truly know that in our hearts and minds. For those who doubt if you have a good plan for them, give them hope, Lord. You are doing such a work here and we struggle and wrestle with these things, but once we find that place that no longer struggles against you, we will find that peace that passes all understanding. Lord, please help each of us to get to that place. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Blessings be upon you dear friends!
Much love in Him,
Debbie
