Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We ask today for a sense of calmness and peace of mind. We ask to feel your presence and to have your Holy Spirit fill us. We pray for serene moments in the midst of emotional upsets, fatigue and distractions during the day. We pray for reminders that you are with us, Father.

We ask for your strength to enable us to press on and not look to the left or the right, but only to you. Please give us a clear and sound mind, Lord. Please impart your wisdom and discernment to us Father, so we might serve you well and make good decisions.

We lift up our family and friends and all of their needs to you, Lord. Even though we may have heavy hearts for those we love, we are not to worry, but to trust them to your loving care. We release all of our cares to you Lord, so we may have your peace this day. Lord, we ask for your Holy Spirit to fill us to overflowing. May we be wise and not fall for the schemes of the enemy. May we hold fast to the things we know to be true. Guard our hearts, Lord.

You know our daily needs and we trust you for them. Please forgive us of our sins and help us to forgive those who have hurt us and wronged us. Please deliver us from evil. Help us to stay on the path that you’ve put in front of us and to not go seeking our own ways.

We thank you Lord for all you have done for us and for all you are doing that we can’t yet see. We know you are working all things together for our good and we praise you for that, Father. We bow before you with grateful hearts this day.  In the name of Jesus we pray,Amen

Wishing you a blessed and peaceful weekend!

In His love,
Debbie
