Prayer for March 24th

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As we look at this photo we are reminded of how often in the midst of our dark days, there is still beauty to be seen and blessings to be found…yet we often neglect to focus on those things…we tend to notice only the darkness that surrounds us. Lord, please help us to see clearly the things to be thankful for in the midst of our trials…help us to find the blessings that are hidden in disguise.

Help us to recognize that the pressure from our trials is changing us from a diamond in the rough, to a beautiful gem …Help us to realize that when there are changes that take place in our lives, you will always work for our good and put us on a path that will lead to something good that we can’t yet imagine…Remind us that in the midst of adversity, we learn where our true strength lies… not in our might or power, but in yours…Help us to be watchful and mindful, so we look beyond ourselves and our pain and worry, to see how you answer prayers and do miracles even in the midst of the biggest storms.

Lord, please give us “night vision” to help us see as you do in the darkness. Help us not to have tunnel vision that only sees what is right in front of us… help us to see the “bigger picture”. Help us to not grow complacent… or stagnate in places of pain, fear, anger, anxiety or uncertainty . Help us to make the most of our days and welcome the changes that will help us to become more Christlike.

Help us to experience the fullness of joy that comes from you and help us to remember even in the midst of our storms, that life may be hard, but you are always good. We thank you Lord, that all things are possible through you. Please go before us this week and lead and guide us. We thank you in advance for all that you are doing to meet our needs. We are so grateful Lord, to be your children. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

May God’s blessing and favor be upon you!

In Him,
Debbie
