Prayer for August 22nd

August 22, 2014

peace

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We know that where two or three are gathered, you are in our midst and we thank you for hearing our prayers as we join together in prayer. We ask for each person praying to feel your presence and closeness today, Lord. We thank you that in your presence, we are safe and secure.

We thank you for sending your angels to surround us and protect us. We thank you that no matter what happens to our physical bodies, nothing can touch our souls or snatch us from your hand. Your children belong to you for now and all eternity. We praise you because even though our outer man is dying , our inner man is being renewed daily. May we grow stronger and more in love with You with each passing day, Lord.

We surrender to you all the things that weigh us down and hold us back from being all you’ve called us to be. We surrender all of our sins. We surrender all that keeps us from living in the freedom you give us. Lord, we ask today that you would…

Please fill us with the fullness of your love…
Please help us to remember all the times you’ve been faithful…
Please help us to be forgiving towards those who have hurt us…
Please help us to be grateful for our blessings…
Please help us to be brave and courageous…
Please help us to trust you more…
Please help us to have a willing heart that says “yes” to you…

Please replenish our strength and energy, Lord. Please help our hearts to heal… please allow our hearts to feel …please help us to move forward in all areas of our lives. Please renew our passion for You.

Please be with our friends and loved ones… watch over them and keep them safe and meet their every need. Please help us to praise you in the valleys as well as on the mountain tops. We love you, Lord and thank you for being our faithful Father who always provides all that we need. In the name of Jesus name we pray, Amen

May your heart overflow with His love and joy today!

Blessings and hugs,
Debbie
