Prayer for September 30th

September 30, 2014

hope for the broken hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

So many of us are dealing with plates that are just overflowing with multiple issues and   it would be so easy to be utterly overwhelmed if not for your grace…your strength…and your provision…Father, help us find that place of peace that allows us to accept the things our minds are fighting to deal with… help us to accept that all we can do is our best and then  the rest is up to you…help us to really grasp that the only way to deal with things beyond our control, is to change our attitude with your help.

Lord, you make a way for us to have peace and serenity…you offer to carry our burdens…you tell us to focus our minds on things that are pure and lovely and we will find your peace…You instruct, lead and guide us so we will not need to be stressed out or worn down, but yet here we are struggling, never seeming to really learn this lesson. Father, help us to learn so we can grow and mature in you…help us to get to that place where we can release our fears and false sense of being in control …help us to release those we love to your care…help us to remember that you love them more than we do and we are not responsible for the choices that others make…help us to turn our worry time to prayer time…we bring everything that is weighing heavy on our hearts today, Lord and we lay it on your altar and we ask for you to have your way…do what we can’t do, Lord…help us to trust the outcome of things to your capable hands…help us to let go of the things that are distracting us…the things that keep us lying awake at night…the things that cause some to lose their appetites and the things that cause others to eat out of stress…

Lord, help us to overcome our anxious thoughts…our depression…our heartaches…our fears… our phobias…our insomnia…our physical ailments that are stress induced…our over-thinking…our always thinking the worse-case-scenario…our need to be in control…Lord, help us to be heavenly minded in all of our ways…always keeping our eye on the bigger picture and on you.

Father, for each person praying, we ask that you meet every need… We pray for healing…we pray for comfort…we ask to feel your nearness and to be filled with your Holy Spirit. We pray for our loved ones…we pray for those who need miracles in their lives and in their families.

Father, thank you for your patience with us. Thank you for forgiving our sins. Thank you for loving us just as we are, flaws and all.  In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Blessings, hugs and love to you,

Hello and God Bless! Nonni here to thank you for this prayer. I have recently starting to share your prayers with my sisters-in-Christ at my website. They soak up the inspiration and we are all growing and are comforted by the words that you share. Thank you so very much.
