Prayer for October 7th

October 7, 2014

hope for the broken hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

It’s so important for our spiritual, mental and emotional well-being to have an attitude of gratitude… but at times, it is hard to see the good when there are so many hard things overwhelming us. In this quiet time with you today, Lord, we want to regain a joyful, thankful perspective on life.

So, Lord we thank you, because you know us by name and because we are fearfully and wonderfully made in your image. We are not an accident…we are not a mistake…everything about us…all that we go through…everything that comes into our lives, matters to you.

We  thank you because you know our every need before we ask… we  thank you Lord, because you long to spend time with us… You want to be intimately acquainted with us and love us as a father loves a child, you don’t want a cold, detached relationship with us…you want us to grow close to you… we  thank you because you promise to give good gifts to your children…we thank you for wanting to carry our burdens for us… you know they are too heavy for us… you don’t want us to be weighed down…you want us to know the fullness of your joy and the power of your might.

We thank you, Lord for promising to never leave us or forsake us…how grateful we are to know we are never alone. We  thank you for taking  so much on yourself, so we  could say we have a Savior that knows and understands all that we go through.  We are so thankful that you overcame sin and death and died to set us free. Thank you, for  interceding in prayer for us.  We are so grateful that because of you, we don’t have to be afraid…  there is nothing anyone can do to us that can take us from your hand…you have overcome the world.  We thank you for being our peace, shelter and fortress.  We praise you, because you are working all things together for our good…that we shall not want…  You lead us to calm places… You restore our soul. You protect us from evil and you have prepared a place for us, where we will live forever in your presence…we are so thankful that we have heaven to look forward to….we find peace, knowing that this is not the end…that there is coming a day when we will be united with you and all  the trials of this life will fade away in an instant.  We praise  you, Lord, for who you are and for what you’ve done in our lives and we thank you  in advance for what you will continue to do.

Lord, our world is changing daily and more  prophecies are being fulfilled each day. Help us not to be fearful, but to be heavenly minded. Help us to keep our eyes on you. We pray for protection for our brothers and sisters who are in harm’s way. We pray for the body of Christ that we might stand strong together. May we not let petty differences separate us. May we be united under your banner of love. Even in our pain and struggles, may we be lights in the dark for you. Give us holy boldness, Lord to reach out to the lost and lonely and to proclaim your truth and your love. May we have a burden for the unsaved. Make us into the men and women that you want us to be, Lord. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen

Blessings be upon you my friends !
In His love,

Debbie please put on a prayer chain/list (not that people change what God is doing but it affects us). A lesbian the lord has been using me to witness to “Amelia Kate Thompson” for her salvation and to bind the Devil because just as fast as the Holy Ghost convicts her she goes from listening to within a day or two back to justifying that “God made her this way” Also put on a prayer chain for all of the Homeless people/families and their dogs that The Lord has been using me daily to witness to and minister needs to! some i run into regularly….Thank you i wouldn’t be asking for prayer if it wasn’t dead serious with horrible situations. lastly pray for my encouragement, poor health and poor Finances like so many others getting bombarded by the enemy….. and for the little Doggy Ben (in my pic) the orona family is still bitter against me for confronting them for not taking proper care of him and i was the one to help them/him…nothing is still resolved and i really love this little guy as my own even though he’s not! fyi please know that you, your son and your ministry is prayed for always!
