Prayer for November 6th

November 6, 2014

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,

We thank you for faithfully providing for us. We thank you for your agape love that flows between your children and binds our hearts together as one.

Lord, the enemy is attacking like never before. We see it in marriages, in finances, in our health, in people being persecuted and in people falling away. There is such a sense of urgency that time is short and we do not have time to waste. We ask for the courage and strength to overcome the trials that are before us. We ask for spiritual maturity. We ask for spiritual eyes that see the truth and your wisdom to understand. Help us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Help us to remove the chains that are keeping us stuck, holding us back and keeping our eyes diverted from you, Lord.

We ask for you to use us, right where we’re at to help others in need. There is strength in numbers and it’s so important that  we support each other in prayer and encourage each other with your word.  Help us to rise up against the things that threaten to pull us down. Help us to mount up with wings like eagles and to renew our strength. This is not the time for giving up, it’s the time for rising up and overcoming and saying, ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” We are not defeated. We have seen the end of the story. We know who wins. We know the battle is won. Help us to walk in the victory that is already ours.

Lord,  so many are tired and weary. They can’t sleep. The attacks against them have been relentless. We ask for the immediate needs to be met. We know all over the world, at this very moment there are people who  are cold, homeless, hungry, worried or sick. We know there are frayed nerves, fear and desperation as bombs and guns are going off around war-torn areas. We know there are people who are suffering from persecution and natural disasters.

You are not blind or deaf to the needs of your children and we are lifting our voices as one and looking to the hills where are help comes from. We are looking to that day when you will draw us unto yourself. Lord, we are trusting, believing and asking you to increase our faith so we can finish the race before us. Fill us with your Spirit, courage and strength today. Please bless our loved ones and keep them safe in your care. Please give us holy boldness to speak of your truth and to share the good news of who you are to the lost and hurting we come in contact with. Go before us in our comings and goings, Lord we pray. In the  name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen

Keep looking up friends! May you find  peace in Him  today!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
