Prayer For January 13th

January 13, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

Your word tells us there is a season, and a time for everything. There is a time to live and a time to die. A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. In our humanness, we hate the seasons of loss and pain. When we are in those dark, barren seasons, it seems as if we will never feel the sun… or Son… in our lives or spirits again… it seems as if we will never know love, laughter or joy again… but life goes on, even after great loss. You help us to rise from the ashes and you restore our souls….beauty rises…hope remains… all because of you Lord!

Lord, we ask that we will see signs of renewed strength and renewed hope. Please grant us a peek, at the good future that you promise to us, in Jeremiah 29. We know that you do not intend our times of grieving to last forever. You intend for us to grieve, but not as those who have no hope. As surely as we know the sun will rise each day and the new seasons will come at the same time each year, you plan for us as well. We can count on you to turn our mourning to joy…we can count on you to turn our weeping to laughter. Please help strengthen us, so we will be able to take the necessary steps to help ourselves… so we can get to those better seasons and places in our lives.

Lord, we ask for everyone who is in a hard season now, that they will find healing for their grief, hurts, pain and losses. We pray for those who have been in a season of financial difficulties, that you would open your store houses. For all that have dealt with illness, that you would bring healing, comfort and relief. Father, for all who have been spiritually dry, may they find streams of your living water to refresh their spirits and brings much spiritual growth.

Father, change takes adjusting to, whether we have good or bad changes. Help us not to be afraid or resistant to the things you have for us. We know no matter the season, you are ever present…ever faithful…ever walking with us. We thank you Lord for your goodness and how you always make a way for us, Lord. We praise you and thank you for all that you are doing in our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Blessings be upon you and your day!
Much Love in Him,
Debbie Kay

Diane, I am so sorry for the loss of your son. It is understandable it would be difficult as the anniversary gets close to special dates. Thank you so very much for your prayers for me. They mean more than you know. I’m praying for you and your family. May you feel God’s nearness especially in this coming week. Hugs and love to you. Debbie
