Prayer For January 19th

January 19, 2015

Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

For every broken heart that is praying…For every parent who is stressed out and overwhelmed because of what is happening with their child…for every person who is struggling to find a way to live in this world with no money, no job, and seemingly no resources available on the horizon…for every person who feels like they are drowning in depression, anxiety or fear…for each person who fears the numbness they feel is going to be permanent and they will always be just existing, instead of living…Father, we ask for you…our Healer…to please intervene.

We bind the enemy in the name of Jesus. We pray for the strength to say, “I can’t do this, but my God can and greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world.” Father, we need to be infused with hope. We ask to meet you in these dark valleys in ways we have never known  you before. We ask that you lead us beside still waters and restore our souls.

As we start this new week, we pray that each day will find us drawing closer to you. We pray to rise above our circumstances. We ask to gain new insights and we pray for your wisdom and discernment to lead and guide us on the paths that you have for us. Lord, so many are facing what seem like impossible situations…they have been in the valley for so long…they are weary, Lord…please show them signs that you are there in the hard places and that you have not forgotten them…we know that you never leave or forsake your children, but we are human and when situations drag on year after year, the enemy seeks to discourage us and make us lose hope. Lord, we ask for you to infuse and strengthen the weak and weary and may they renew their strength to carry on the race before them. If there is anything in our lives that hinders our prayers, Lord, please show us…speak to our hearts, Lord and help us to persevere with confidence that you are firmly in control and on the throne and your timing is always best.

Father, we lift our day and week to you. We ask for your favor and mercy to be upon us and our families. May we serve you and represent you well this week. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen.

May you be filled with hope and His peace friends!

In His love,
Debbie
