Prayer For February 4th

February 4, 2015

hope for the broken hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you that you are the God of redemption. We praise you that you are the God of miracles. We thank you for taking the least likely of people… and unimaginable events…and transforming what was dark and wrong, into things that have been purified and restored for your glory.

When we think of the people who have gone before us, it should give us hope. Surely, you are the God that loves those that society would shun… you are the God of second chances. You are the God that takes what the devil meant for harm and you transform it into something good…something that brings you glory. We should find encouragement in the stories of people like Paul, Moses and David…people that had committed great sins, yet they were people who were used in big ways by you.

Thank you, Lord,  for taking our sins and our failings and washing us clean in the blood of Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for taking our brokenness and transforming our pain into something that has purpose and beauty. We may not see the transformation in our lives now, but what you did before, you still do…you are the same yesterday, today and forever and your promises are still true. You promise to redeem and restore… and we can count on that. Thank you for your mercy and grace.

Lord, we thank you for the unseen things you are doing in our lives and the lives of those we love. May the examples you’ve given us of other believers who have found lives of redemption cause us to faithfully lift our loved ones in prayer and to not give up on them. You are still healing, restoring, redeeming and doing miracles in the lives of people every day. There is no one that is so far gone, that they can’t be changed and redeemed. You do what no man can do…

Lord, we look forward with excited anticipation for the things you are working in our lives and the lives of those we love. May our faith grow stronger and be more anchored in you. May we continue to remember and find hope in the fact that you are faithful to complete the work that you have begun in us. With gratitude we pray today, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Blessings be upon you friends!

Much love in Him,

I did not receive the email for 2-4-15. I tried to reapply to daily prayer thought and was denied. I tried to print from post on web and it would not print. Please advise. I love this inspirational blog or post. I have deactivated my FB account for personal reasons and do not have access to daily posts on FB. Glenda C. Gilmer

Hi, Glenda! I’m not sure what to do about the problems you’ve experienced. I don’t know much about WordPress or how to resolve problems, etc as my experience has just been limited to posting. Here is the link to the prayer for yesterday. Also, I will be announcing it as soon as it is available, but I have been working on a mobile app and it is in the process of receiving approval from Apple, Google, etc…there you will be able to have in one spot the daily prayer and many new daily offerings I’ve been working on to offer encouragement.Blessings to you, Debbie
