Prayer For March 14th

March 14, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We ask for your help in dealing with the adversity in our lives. Teach us new coping skills…show us how to deal with injustice and cruelty and those things that we are helpless to change. Strengthen our faith and teach us how to pray effectively that we might stand strong against the things that Satan uses to divide and inflict pain. Help us to see the power that believers have when we join together and lift our voices as one to bring change. Help us to remember that the faithful, fervent prayers of a righteous person accomplishes much.

Lord, we know the enemy is seeking to destroy all that he can before his time is over. We pray  in the name of Jesus, for every marriage that is held in his grip to be set free. For every person who is ill, we ask for healing. For every person who is in need, we ask for provision. For every person who is grief-stricken and despairing of life, we pray for intervention for them at this moment, Lord. For all those who seek answers, direction, guidance and peace… we ask for you to speak to their hearts and give them your wisdom.

Lord, help us not to cower in fear of the enemy. Help us to stand firm when we feel like running. Help us to remember there is an army of heavenly angels fighting in a realm we cannot see… and if we could see, we surely would not be afraid…we would know beyond a doubt that no weapon formed against will prosper. Help us to remember that Jesus Himself is sitting at your right hand interceding for us!

Please strengthen and encourage each of us today, Lord… pick us up, from what feels like a miry pit and put our feet not only on solid ground, but also on the path that you choose for us to be on. Oh, Lord may we sound the battle cry today…may this be the day we say to the enemy…”you will not discourage me, you will not hinder me, you will have no victory over  me or my family, in the name of Jesus”  …

Hear our united voices we pray, Lord… may we go forth boldly this day equipped with your armor and power. It’s not by our might or power, but by yours… in the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Blessings be upon you friends!

In His love,
