Prayer For March 28th

March 28, 2015

Hi, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Dear Lord,

We come before you today and we ask for your blessing to be upon  our families. We ask for you to be the head of our relationships and households… May our homes be filled with peace, harmony and your presence. We pray that our homes would be a sanctuary of peace… where love, compassion and understanding live and where each member thrives and grows in your grace.

Lord, whether our family members live with us at the moment, or live far away, we ask that you would draw them close unto yourself and draw us closer to each other. We ask that you would bring the prodigal’s home. We ask that everyone in our families would treat each other with respect and kindness…that we would learn to love each other as we love ourselves… We ask for healing and a meeting of the minds in strained relationships… we ask for there to be a true understanding of each others needs. May there be unconditional love, support, healing, forgiveness and a true appreciation for how important family is and how blessed we are for each member.

We pray for homes where there is  abuse, addictions, infidelity or unfulfilled relationships.  We ask for you to do miracles. We ask that you would change hearts, minds and lives and make things better than they’ve ever been. Please restore relationships and marriages according to your will, we pray, Lord. We pray for softened hearts and for marriages and relationships to be built on you, the solid rock so we may have a firm foundation. We pray you would be at the center of each relationship. We pray for healing of hurts and the ability to forgive, and to ask forgiveness.

We pray for those who are feeling the weight of lack of jobs and financial problems. We pray for divine intervention and provision, Lord. Please supply abundantly from your storehouses for your children.

We pray for all the families who are suffering with grief and loss, divorce, health problems and injuries. We ask for strength and comfort as you help them to endure under stress, pain, strain, sadness and loss. We ask for healing and provision for every need, Lord. Please replace worry and anxiety with your comfort and peace.

We pray for those who are single…for single parent families and for the widowed…  and for those who have no relatives to rely on and for those who are lonely and feel abandoned or isolated. Please bring friends and brothers and sisters in Christ into their lives so they will feel loved and cared for and so they will have someone to help share the heavy loads…Lord, please meet every need spoken and unspoken and we thank you in advance for what you will do. Lord, may we serve you well and bring glory and honor to your name. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Wishing you a blessed weekend!

Much love in Him,
