Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Our Father,

Today we want to lift up all who are just going through the motions of living…we pray for the ones who are essentially on auto-pilot. They walk through a gray colored world, oblivious to all that is around them. Grief can make us numb…lack of sleep can leave us in a fog…loss of hope leads to despair…

Lord, we pray for our all who feel this way and ask that you would meet them where they are at and walk with them. Even if they don’t feel you, please show them signs that you are there. May they see your light shining in their darkened world… we pray for those who are depressed. We pray for those who have PTSD. We pray for those who have chronic illness or painful injuries If they need medical or professional help, may they be inspired to seek it and may they be led to the right doctors. We pray for financial provision for all who need medial treatment or counseling, but can’t afford it. May they find comfort and wise counsel from spiritual leaders and the support of friends and family. Please help each of us Lord, to see the beauty and colors in life again.

Lord, we pray for all the parents who are overwhelmed. We pray for all the caregivers of parents, spouses and special needs children … these situations can make the days run and blur together. Sometimes, life is just one medical or emotional crisis after another and it seems as though the heartache will never end. Father, may your presence be felt in the middle of the sleepless nights… in the middle of every procedure… in the midst of every clean up and lonely night spent crying because they are weary, drained and at the end of themselves. You are there in the details of our lives, Lord. May we feel your presence like never before. You are not watching from afar with a detached view of things. You are kneeling beside us as we serve and cope and press in to you…

Lord, please pour out your grace and mercy. Help us view things in light of eternity. All the hard, difficult stuff that seems like it will last forever, won’t. The pain, heartache, suffering, depression and pain is all going to fade away sooner than we realize. Every good thing that lies ahead will last for eternity. Help us remember that everything is allowed into our lives for a reason and help us to see you in the hard things. May we grow spiritually, so we can say, “your grace is enough to sustain us”. May your hope spring forth and fill each of us praying with your peace, joy and comfort!  You are so gracious and patient with us and we thank you for being such a wonderfully faithful, Father. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Better days are coming friends, keep holding on and pressing in to Him. He is your strength!

Blessings, hugs and love to you all,
Debbie

Dear Debbie, Thank you so much for your prayer ministry.  I look forward every day to ‘praying’ your post, which seems to speak to events and circumstances in the lives of my family. During the Fall and early Winter months of 2014, I posted prayer requests  on your FB site for my grandson, Riley.  He was targeted by a girl who was approx. 2.5 years older than him and out of high school. Eventually my daughter and her husband received an order of protection against her for 15 days.  During that time, an attorney advised that Riley write a letter telling the girl to leave him alone, stop harassing his mother, and not to bother his friends. She continued to stalk Riley and her family enabled her, trying to portray her as the victim.  The letter was placed with the file given to the judge and supposedly she was to understand that criminal action would be the consequence if she continued. Recently, the car belonging to her grandmother was used to drive toward Riley after soccer practice, nearly hitting him and a co-player as they were walking to the gym. The grandmother said she was the driver.  Other students seem to believe the girl was driving to car because she had been seen at practice.  Her younger sister is a manager of the team.  Now, the grandmother is threatening a law suit because her granddaughter (19) has been banned from the school campus and all school events.  Pray for Riley.  He was 6th in his class last year.  He GPA has suffered.  He will probably be knocked out of the top 10.  Pray that God will bring an end to all this turmoil and that Riley’s future is a peaceful one.  Pray for my daughter…..that she release all this into God’s hands and let Him work all to His glory and His plans for Riley’s future. Thank you for your time. CG

I remember your prayer request for Riley. I’m so sorry to hear that you all are still dealing with so much. I will pray for all you’ve mentioned! Praying blessings, protection and swift resolution and that your daughter will find God in new ways as she trusts Him through this trial. Please keep me updated.
