Prayer For June 1st

June 1, 2015

hope for the broken hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day. We lift this week to you and we dedicate it to you, Lord. We ask that you would lead and guide us in all that lies ahead. We ask that you would give us opportunities to share your love and compassion and to meet the needs of others, even as you are meeting our needs, Lord.

Please be with those we love and hold dear. We ask for those who don’t know you, that you would soften their hearts. May they see you clearly for who you are. We ask that you’d bring the prodigals home. We ask that you would heal and restore estranged relationships. We ask that you would deliver our friends and family members from addictions and bad influences…and we ask the same for anyone who is reading this prayer who is struggling with addiction as well. We ask for your healing touch to be upon those who are ill, injured or disabled. Please give strength to the caregivers and those who are worn-out… for those who have financial needs and all that entails… whether it be a need for a job, a car, housing, money to live on, money for deposits, repairs, medical expenses or food to eat…please open your store houses and may your children see your provision and goodness. Lord, we pray for all who are hurting… may they feel your comfort and for those who are unsettled, we pray they would feel your peace.

Please forgive us for our sins and fill us we pray, with your Holy Spirit. May we have holy boldness to stand firm in the things you’ve taught us…it may not be popular, it may not even be safe…but help us to live a life pleasing to you and not for the approval or acceptance of men. We pray for our countries and we pray for our leaders…Father, you know all that is wrong…you know all the needs…we lift our leaders up to you and pray they will know you, love you and want to serve you and please you. Father, give us bold faith that is unafraid to stand for what is right and true.

Finally, Lord, we ask that you would help us this week to take steps that will help us to move forward in our situations…in our grief… with our health… in our faith…in any area where we are stuck or need to make changes… help us please to move forward in faith, casting all fear aside. May we claim your promises…may we trust in your power that flows through us… may we go forth confidently, knowing you walk beside us.

We lift all that we are and our every need to you, Lord. We submit to your will, knowing that you want only the best for us. In the name of Christ we pray, Amen.

May you have a blessed week and month!
In His love,
