Prayer For August 7th

August 7, 2015

Debbie Kay prayer, Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

We thank you that even though life can be very hard, you are always good… you are a friend to the friendless, a husband to the widow, hope to the hopeless…you grieve with those who grieve… you collect our tears…comfort us with your Holy Spirit and breathe your strength and life into us when we are  weak and weary.

Lord, please speak peace to those who are filled with fear, worry and anxiety…calm their restless and anxious thoughts…we pray for those who have trouble sleeping…for those who just walk through their days exhausted…that takes such a toll, emotionally, mentally and physically and causes so many problems…please bring healing to every area of our lives and help us to find the physical rest we need…where there are things that we can do to help ourselves, but we might not be aware, please lead us to the information we need…if there are things that we need to change, but they are difficult to do, please give us the courage , determination and motivation to do them…help us to remember that our bodies our your temple…so many things happen to us that we have no control over, but help us to do what we can to help ourselves…help us never to be content where we are…help us to want to be the very best we can be for you…

For every person who is in pain …for everyone who is overwhelmed…for every person who is in difficult circumstances and they don’t have a clue what to do or where to turn, please meet each need…please impart your wisdom, knowledge and discernment…please be our everything, Lord…

Please draw us close unto yourself…consume us and overwhelm us, with your amazing grace…we want to experience all you have for us, Lord and not just go through the motions of living…we claim your promises  that you will turn our mourning to joy… that you will heal our wounds…that we have a hope filled future that lies before us and that one day you will redeem each of our tears that you have collected and written in your book… that one day, you will wipe the last tear from our eyes and everything that was so hard in this life will be gone forever and we will look back and say it was worth it for the knowledge of you and to be in your presence forever…help us to remember that better days are coming…With gratitude and praise we ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

May you be filled with His glorious hope!

In Him,
