Prayer For August 10th

August 10, 2015

Debbie Kay prayer, Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Many who are praying today, are nervous…weary… anxious…they find it hard to eat and sleep…some feel irritable and on edge…. some are overwhelmed by mounting pressure and obstacles that are in their way. There are many who are dealing with physical pain…some just feel they can’t handle much more. Lord, we pray for anyone who feels this way…please calm them in every way with your supernatural peace…ease their stress, smooth the rough roads and make the crooked places straight…

There is no detail of our lives that you are not interested in. No detail too small, nothing too large. You are Lord over all.  Others may lack patience, empathy and understanding of our situations and what we go through and deal with… many don’t understand the depths of our pain, and they may never understand, unless they find themselves walking a similar path…but you are not that way, Lord. You are full of loving kindness and compassion. When we hurt, you hurt. You long to see us healed from our emotional and mental  pain, but you do not rush us. You do not scold us. You just whisper “I am here…come to me and I will give you rest….my yoke is easy and my burden light”.

Lord, please intervene and deliver those who are being oppressed with negativity and harsh judgments. May your Spirit pass over them and through them so they can feel relief …so they can feel the stress, irritations and frustrations leave their bodies… for those who deal with invisible disabilities and have to fight battles with others on top of the physical battles they deal with, please help them to cope so their health issues are not compounded by stress, anger or anxiety…

Father, we live in such a mixed up world where people scream about tolerance, yet they are often extremely intolerant themselves…there is a spirit of anger that seems to be rising everywhere…there seems to be such division and strife…it has become the exception for people to be civil… there is  lack of desire to understand or have compassion for how others might think or feel…Lord, we can’t change the world…but we can make a difference in our small corner of it…may we be known for our kindness and compassion…may people see you in us…may we treat others the way that we would want to be treated…Jesus was our example of how to reach out to others and  to show compassion and kindness…help us to overlook the flaws and shortcomings of others and to see them through the eyes of Christ… may we find the same type of treatment as well. Lord, please pour out your spirit upon our land and our world…may their be another revival and may your light and love overpower the darkness.Help us to overcome evil with good and not be discouraged or stressed by the things we see or hear. Help our focus to stay on you. We thank you in advance for the healing and help you will bring us. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Blessings to you friends!

Much love in Him,
