Prayer For Sept. 26th

September 26, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord God,

Your word says, “stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening”…so, Lord, we come to you today and we say thank you…

We thank you for the privilege of coming before you in prayer… for the opportunity to enter into your presence…that we can come directly to you… to hear from you… to commune with you…We thank you that where two or more gather, you are in their midst… We thank you for being in control of everything and we are so grateful that you hear our prayers and that you care about every detail of our lives.

We thank you because of Christ’s great love and sacrifice, we have a hope filled future and that we can be heirs to your Kingdom. We thank you for holding us, protecting us, providing for us and being faithful through good and bad. We are grateful for your compassion  and for the comfort you give to those who mourn…  we thank you for taking up the cause of the afflicted, and the rights of the poor… for seeing past our imperfections to what we will one day be and for loving us infinitely and unconditionally… how humbled and blessed we are to be your children. We thank you for your grace that redeems us and the blood of Jesus that makes us whole.

We thank you that though we are afflicted, we are not crushed… we thank you that the battle is already won and the victory is ours…Lord, many who are praying with us are in great pain and they are dealing with much adversity and their hearts are heavy and weary… we thank you for the rest we can find in you…for the strength that you pour into us…we thank you for carrying our burdens, for giving us your peace…Thank you for caring for us and watching over us as a shepherd watches over his sheep…

We give you this day, Lord…we give you our lives and we say, “thank you most glorious, Lord for another day of life”… May we grow in your knowledge and grace and draw ever closer to you. Please fill each of us now with your Holy Spirit and lead and guide us in all that we say and do. In the name of our beloved Savior, Jesus we pray, Amen!

May you be filled with His joy, comfort and peace!
Much love in Him,
