Prayer For Nov 27th

November 27, 2015

prayer from Debbie Kay, Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise you for being the God of the impossible…help us to never lose sight of the truth that nothing is too difficult for you. Help us to overcome our fears when you tell us to do something…help us to be willing to do those things which seem too hard…help us to trust and believe in your goodness and promises…help us not to give up…help us to persevere and not grow tired in well-doing…

You’ve given us examples in your Word of blessings that your children missed out on because they were fearful…because they doubted…because they wouldn’t step out in faith…help us to learn from the mistakes of others…help us to trust in you when it makes no earthly sense to…help us to be unafraid of the opinions of others…help us to cast aside the things that weigh us down and hold us back…help us to cast off any fear, self-doubt, shame and self-loathing that makes us want to hide away from others and at times from you…help us not to give the enemy  any foothold in our lives…help us to remember that though the battles we face seem too hard or long for us, they are not for you…help us to remember that you allow times of testing…help us to remember that what you allow, will serve a purpose…you want us to learn to endure…you want us to become strong, courageous and valiant in the face of adversity…you want us to lay hold to our heritage of being overcoming children of the King…help us to not fail in the times of our testing, Lord…we may be weak…we may lack courage…but you do not…you are our strength…you make us brave…you make us strong in your power and might…

Your Word tells us to be willing to suffer hardship as a good soldier of Jesus…help us not to shrink back when faced with adversity, Lord…help us to see ourselves as brave soldiers on a battle field, because surely we are in spiritual battles with an enemy who wants to see us defeated…an enemy who wants us to believe that we are powerless and hopeless…that we are victims instead of victors…help us to remember that we do not fight alone…we never are alone for one second…you are with us, and for us, and equipping us for everything we face…if you tell us we can do something, let us listen to your voice and not the lies of the enemy…help us to face our pain, losses, grief and trials with the confident hope and belief that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive in us…we are more than conquerors…we are more than what we are going through…more than our past, more than our pain, more than our illnesses and disabilities, more than our financial struggles…we are victors through our Savior Jesus Christ and no foe can defeat us with Him walking by our side.

We thank you and praise you, Lord…you are so worthy of praise, glory and honor…we bow before you in our hearts…we ask you to forgive us of our sins. Cleanse us and make us pure and whole…do a work in us, Lord that we might glorify you and point the way to you. May others see you in us and be drawn to you. We thank you that we can ask these things in the name of our beloved Savior Jesus. Amen

Praying blessings on you always friends! You are loved!

In His service,
