Prayer For Nov. 30th

November 30, 2015

Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Our Father,

We ask for your comfort for those who are in pain and are suffering… whether it’s physically, emotionally, mentally, financially or spiritually. Father, we ask for your grace to be upon them… may they feel your presence … we ask  for a healing touch from you, Lord… whatever way you choose to do that…you know what is best…whether it’s a miracle healing, medical intervention or to take them home for the absolute best healing…

Lord, please bless the caregivers and medical staff who deal with so much…they see and do things that can be so taxing, mentally and physically. Father, be their strength and please give them wisdom and knowledge in all things, that they might use it to help others…

From a human perspective, Jesus knows just how hard this life can be…He saw suffering, pain, temptation, affliction, poverty, loved ones dying, people making wrong choices that would hurt them and Him…He saw man’s cruelty and self-centeredness… He knows us and understands everything we go through… Jesus knows perfectly how to intercede on our behalf and we are so grateful that He is sitting at your right hand, interceding for us daily.

Lord, help us to keep our eyes on you and not on the things that we can’t control. Help us to reach out to you as our life-preserver when we feel like we are drowning in our pain…be our refuge and our strength and help us rise above all that threatens to overtake and overwhelm us…

We lay everything on your altar, Lord…all of our pain, all of our sadness, all of our questions, all of our frustrations, all of our burdens and cares and we ask you to take them…Help us to find rest in you as we trust those we love and all the circumstances that are beyond our control, into your hands. Perhaps our delight in you doesn’t always shout and dance, Lord…perhaps sometimes our delight is just gratefulness that we have a Savior that stands beside us through thick and thin and carries us when we are too weak to move on our own…perhaps sometimes delight comes in the form of a sigh…and not a shout of joy…perhaps sometimes our delight is the feeling deep within…of a love so deep for you that there are no words that can convey it…perhaps for today, our delight can be our prayer of thankfulness for you being Lord in our lives and ruler over all. We give you everything we are and everything we hope to be, Lord and we commit those we love to your hands. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Blessings be upon you all!
Much love in Him,
Debbie
