Prayer For Dec. 25th

December 25, 2015

prayer from Debbie Kay, Christmas

Hello, Friends! Merry Christmas! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are grateful for this day…we are grateful to have a Savior who loves us so much He was willing to humble Himself in such incredible ways so we could find hope and redemption…thank you for the miracle of Christ’s birth…thank you for making a way for us…thank you for revealing your goodness, grace and glory to us…No matter where we are, or what circumstances we find ourselves in today, Lord we ask that thoughts of you and your incredible gift to us would overshadow everything else that is going on in our lives. May we focus on the hope that this day represents. May we focus on the promises fulfilled… the miracles that took place so our Savior could be born…Emmanuel…God  Is With Us…Prince of Peace…our peace…our hope…our Savior…our Redeemer…The One who works all things together for our good…The One who overcame sin and death and who made a way where there seemed to be no way…The One that pours His grace upon us…The One who bore our sin and took our shame…who bears our pain…The One who restores our souls and leads us through the valleys and beside still waters…The One who makes it possible to fear no evil and for our cups to overflow …

Our Lord, may everything we face…may every hardship we endure…every loss…every minute of physical, emotional and mental pain be counted as joy when we think of your birth and death and all you sacrificed so we might live…we rejoice today for your faithfulness and for all that you’ve gone ahead to prepare for us…We celebrate you…We worship you…We thank you and we praise you for who you are and for all you have done and continue to do for each of us. For each of us, may the miracle of Christmas fill our hearts with joy and gladness today and every day.

Lord, please touch those who are ill today…be with all who are unable to celebrate today for any reason…we ask for comfort for all who are estranged or separated from loved ones and we pray for all who must work and be away from their family’s… may The Holy Spirit, comfort the broken-hearted, the grieving and the lonely…please send your angels to minister to those who are in financial need  and we ask for comfort and protection for all who are dealing with storms, natural disasters and the aftermath of things beyond their control… please grant traveling mercies to all who must travel today and Lord, we ask for your angel armies to prevail against all evil and any who would seek to do harm… Lord, we ask according to your will that you would grant  miracles, meet needs and pour out blessings to remind people  that they are not alone…that you are still on the throne…that  our needs matter to you…You want only the best for us…you sent only your best for us…you knew  then and you know now, more than anything, we are in need of a Savior, and we rejoice that we can celebrate our Messiah today. We love you,Lord and  we ask these things in the name of our wonderful risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen

From our home to yours, I wish you every good thing on this Christmas Day!
Blessings, hugs and love,
Debbie

Good Morning Debbie, and Merry Christmas – to you on the west coast, from me on the east coast!!! What a lovely word, “Hope”, to start your prayer with, it has uplifted me already!!! The last few days have been difficult, so this was perfect, thank you so much and God Bless you! “Blessings and Hugs and Love”, Rita

“Hope” to focus on “the One” – what a beautiful message, Debbie. Thank you for sharing the words to uplift the “spirit” in each one of us so that the focus is on “Him”, who came! God Bless you, and Merry Christmas.
