Prayer For Dec. 31st

December 31, 2015

prayer for New Year's Eve

Hello, Friends! I want to thank you for your friendship this year. Thank you for your words of encouragement and your prayers for me, my family and ministry. I thank you for the grace and patience you’ve shown  me as I have struggled with my health that has far too often affected my ability to post consistently this year. Please know that I am grateful for each of you… I thank our God upon each rememberance of you… I look forward to hugging each of you in person one day and spending eternity with you and our beloved Savior. I pray that 2016 will bring you many blessings and much joy!

Dear Lord,

We thank you for today and this new day of life you have given us. As we say goodbye to 2015, we think about our blessings and all the things  that you have brought us through this year.  It has been a hard year with many losses and many struggles for most of us. We thank you for your grace that has sustained us and for your faithful presence in our lives. We thank you for our friends and family who have stood beside us this year…we thank you for your faithful provision and for protecting us.
Lord, help us to not dwell on the past or the things that we are helpless to change. Help us to not look backwards with regret, but to look forward with hope.  Even though our world is a dark place, we have hope because of you… you are not done working yet…our jobs are not finished…our purpose is not yet complete…help us to look forward with an excited anticipation for the things that you will do in us and through us in the coming year…may we be willing vessels in your hand so we might bring glory and honor to you in all that we say and do.

Please hold those who feel alone today and may they be filled to overflowing with your love, peace and comfort. May they feel your nearness and be encouraged through your Word. Please go before us  and stir within us a desire for you like we’ve never known, Lord. Change us and mold us and help us to see ourselves and our circumstances through your eyes.  In the  name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen

Wishing you all a safe, blessed New Year’s Eve!

Blessings, hugs and love to you,
Debbie

With minutes to go, I am so thankful to have been a part of your “ministry”, and share a “blessed friendship” with you. I share your loving wish – “I look forward to hugging each of you in person one day and spending eternity with you and our beloved Savior. I pray that 2016 will bring you many blessings and much joy!” I look forward to the same with you!!!
May God Bless you, Debbie, from this moment, and always!
