Prayer For Jan. 14th

January 14, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

The enemy is working so hard to weigh us down…to discourage, defeat and destroy all who love you…to keep us chained to heavy hearts…to make us think that there is no hope and that you don’t care… too often we carry around these heavy weights until we can’t see the light of day and we are blinded to your truth… we can’t see the beauty around us, we can’t see you on the horizon, or anywhere at all… Lord, we ask for you to take our burdens from us. We ask you to bind the enemy in Jesus’ name. We want to cast our cares away, so we may rise with the hope of a new day in our hearts and minds. Who the Son sets free is free indeed… may we find that place of freedom in you…may we cast off our old habits, the sins that we struggle with, the old hurts and constant struggles…please encourage and strengthen us with your Word…please speak life into the weary and downtrodden…please, Lord, renew a right spirit in us…help us to hear your voice and see the path you’ve set before us…help us  not to turn to the left or right…please take our hands and hold us tight and lead and guide us on the path that leads to life…that leads to you.
Lord, we lift up  all who are in ministry…we pray that they will seek your face…seek your guidance and wisdom…seek to live life in a way that is worthy of their calling…please put a hedge of protection about them and keep them safe and protected as they seek to serve on the frontlines of spiritual battles…please renew their strength…please provide for their personal and ministry needs…please use them mightily to do your work and to lead others to a saving knowledge of who you are…please remind us and put on our hearts to constantly pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ. We lift up those who are being persecuted for their faith…Lord, please deliver them…please intervene…please give them physical, emotional, mental and spiritual strength that they might endure…may they feel your nearness…Lord, help us to never forget the power of prayer…the duty we have as believers to pray for others and their needs…

Lord, help us  to feel your nearness today. May we be encouraged in your Word. May we learn to rejoice and sing praises to you in our hearts, no matter what our circumstances…you are in control…you are on the throne and no matter what comes or goes, you are worthy to be praised. Help us to remember that you are with us in our coming and our going and even in our times of rest. Father, for those who are struggling to hold on, please show them how to live in the midst of their struggles… thank you for your faithfulness, Lord and for the hope we have in you. In the name above all names we pray, Amen.

Hope you have a blessed and wonderful day friends!
Much love in Him,
Debbie Kay
