Prayer For April 8th

April 8, 2016

prayer

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you today and  ask for those who have prayed faithfully for others and have yet to see their prayers answered…please  reassure them that you have heard every cry and petition… you hear every prayer, no matter how simple or short. It’s not the words that matter…it’s the intent of the heart behind the words… the Holy Spirit intercedes so you understand even the silent groans when words fail to come… Help us to remember that prayer is about surrendering to your will… it’s letting go of our expectations and desires and praying, “not my will, but your will be done” Help us to trust in your timing…to believe that your ways are best…to have faith that you see each need…

Some battles are won on our knees and the battle may be long…Help us to have  faith that is unshakable and persistent…Your word says the faithful, fervent prayers of a righteous man does much. Help us to become  prayer warriors for others… you never force your will on anyone…so it may take years for those we pray for to open their eyes and their hearts so you can answer those prayers…it’s our job to be faithful and keep knocking, seeking, trusting, asking and believing that you will answer according to your will and in your time…you are faithful…

Lord, we give you our worry, anxiety and fear and we trust everything we are praying for to you. We want you to decide the outcome that is best for each of our situations. We give you all of our cares, problems and pain and lay it all at your feet… we give you all of our loved ones and friends and their needs…we place every care and concern in your hands  and we surrender to your will, Lord… we know  you want only the best for us and those we love and you do all things well. We trust you and we pray that we all will truly feel your peace, as we let go of our expectations and the things we can’t control and wait on you. We love you, Lord. We praise you. We thank you that we can ask these things in Jesus’  name, Amen.

Blessings be upon you all!
Much love in Him,
Debbie
