Prayer For May 20th

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you and ask for your wisdom and guidance…please help us to make wise choices with our time and our finances…help us to be good stewards of all you have given us…not only in regards to our finances and time , but with our choices about our health as well. Help us to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit…help us to make the best choices we can when it comes to  taking care of ourselves, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically and financially … we ask for your knowledge, wisdom and discernment in all areas of our lives, Lord…help us to make the best decisions we can in dealing with our relationships…

Every day we are faced with choices that will build us up, or tear us down… move us forward, or keep us stuck.. please help us to be sensitive to your voice and leading…tug on our hearts and give us a hunger and thirst for your Word …give us a longing and a passion to spend more time in prayer and seeking your presence…help us to seek fellowship and teaching that will inspire, nurture and encourage us and give us a place to share the same comfort that you comfort us with… please help us to be more aware and conscious of the tools that you give us to overcome and to be more Christlike…help us to choose the narrow way that leads to life…

Lord, we need you…we need you every hour to be our compass, our beacon that lights our way, our healer and our strength…we bow before you with humble hearts that recognize that we are nothing without you, but through you we have been given all things…help us to walk in a way that is worthy of our calling…help us to count everything as joy and to learn to be content in all things…help us to  be the best that we can be so we can serve you well and bring glory to you in all that we say and do. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen
