Prayer For May 21st

May 21, 2016

prayer from Debbie Kay

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you that we are made clean, whole and righteous through Christ. We thank you for your grace. We thank you for all the examples we have in the Bible of people who seemed so unlikely to be used by you…we thank you for examples like Paul…you saw past all that he had done as an unbeliever,  to all that He could be…all that He could do in your name, once He came to know you…may his example remind us to never give up  on anyone…you are faithful and take the least likely of people and situations to do miracles…to do what seems impossible…

Help us to believe that as long as we have breath, it’s never to late to serve you… to be healed by you.. to change our ways…to find faith and grow stronger in it…to bring the prodigals home…to improve our health, our relationships, our circumstances…help us to hear your voice and may your Words and truth heal us and change us.  Help us  to be strong in you…Help us to overcome our insecurities, our anxieties, our fears, worries and doubts…  Help us to worry less  about the future…about what others think about us… help us to be content with the fact that you know the truth and that is what matters most. We give you all our difficult situations…all the things that trouble us from the past…Lord, we lay everything before you and we ask to exchange it for your peace and a sense of contentment knowing that we are right where you want us to be…one day you will right the wrongs, you will show all that’s been hidden… you will make known the truth of every situation and you will vindicate us on every level.

Help us as we keep pressing on to shrug off the things that so easily beset us…our sins, our failures, our  misconceptions,  and any anxiety, worry,  fear, regrets,  self-condemnation and second-guessing ourselves or others…help us to see ourselves as we are in your eyes…new creations who are loved and cherished by you.  Have your way with us, Lord that we may bear much good fruit for you and your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Blessings be upon you today!

Much love in Him,
