Prayer For Aug. 12th

August 12, 2016

prayer from Debbie Kay

Hello, friends! Here’s today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

Today, we lift to you all who are feeling confused … when we feel burdened due to loss, breakups, turmoil, illness or hardships, we can feel like we are lost in a maze as we try to navigate all of our emotions. When we don’t sleep well for nights on end, it becomes difficult to think clearly and keep our emotions in check. When we feel rejected, it’s easy to lose a healthy sense of ourselves as we compare ourselves with others. It’s easy to feel confused if we take our eyes from you and focus on our questions and problems…sometimes we grow confused when we try to find solutions or guidance by listening to differing opinions. Lord, you say you are not the author of confusion and so we ask for you to give mental clarity, your wisdom, your discernment and your knowledge to all  who are in need. May each one find the peace, clarity and assurance they need.

Lord, for all who are struggling with depression and sadness and feel like they are drowning in the midst of a storm laden sea…please lead and guide them…give them a sense of purpose and vision of better days to come… please guide them to where they need to be in every area of their lives…

Please  fill each person who is reading this with your strength, hope and courage. Help us to remember that we are not alone, powerless or defeated. Help us to remember  that when we mention your name, the enemy must flee. Lord, please bring comfort, peace and healing. Please gather us unto yourself and fill us with a thirst for your presence and a ravenous appetite for your Word. Please do what only you can do and  help us to wait with confidence and patience for your timing in fulfilling every promise… Please fill us with your spirit and cleanse us and mold us into what you want us to be. Help us to be in the center of your will, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

Keep believing and leaning into Him friends. He will not let you down!
Much love in Him,
