Prayer For Aug. 15th

August 15, 2016

prayer from Debbie Kay, Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the today’s prayer…

Our Father,

Oh, how we long for peace in this world… we still  have months to go before the election and things are so contentious. People are so angry as they discuss politics…it is clear that there is much that divides us and our country… it is painfully obvious that the enemy is working to cause as much chaos and discord as he can in our world.  Please help us to release our stress, anger and anxiety, Father… with each breath that we take, may we take in your peace and exhale our stress. Help us to take our thoughts captive and focus on things that are good, pure and of you.

We pray for our countries…not just the U.S….but for each one represented here. We pray that our countries will be led by compassionate, godly leaders who have a heart for you and for all people. Help us to remember that we can make a difference in our corner of our world..in our sphere of influence…in our homes…one person at a time…one kind deed at a time…one prayer offered up, can have a ripple effect…together, we can be the change we want to see in our world…Father, may our actions, thoughts and words, bring glory to you and point the way to you and your saving grace.

Please help us to be diligent and persistent in our pursuit of you. May our relationship with you be our first priority. May you be our greatest passion before any cause in this world. Help us be a voice of calm and reason and may people be drawn to you as they see you shining forth from us.  Thank you for those who help spread hope and your light in the middle of dark times. We lift up all who are in ministry and ask for your protection for them… we pray for those who serve and protect in every capacity…may they not grow discouraged in doing good…please be their source of strength, courage and protection…Lord, we all to you as well who are being persecuted for your name’s sake…please protect, deliver and provide for them, Lord…

We know you are aware of our needs and we thank you in advance for the answers, help, provision and healing that are on the way… Please  go before us Father. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

May you feel His peace, presence and joy today friends!

In His love,
Debbie
