Prayer For Sept. 9th

September 9, 2016

prayer from Debbie Kay, Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

You are the God of all hope… you give, not as the world gives. You choose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. You are the God of second chances. You are The Almighty One… you created the heavens and the earth… you make walls fall by walking around them…you raise the dead… you calm the winds and wave…you sent your Son through a virgin…You do what no one can do…you are mighty in power and things aren’t over until you say they are over…

We are asking and believing,  for miracles for those who have been told by others or who have told themselves that…

There is nothing more that can be done for their illness…
There is nothing more that can be done for their loved one…
There are no jobs available…
They are not qualified…
They are overqualified…
They are not good enough…
They are too old…
They are too young…
They should give up on their dreams…
They are too broken to heal…
Things can’t, or won’t get better…
That they are unlovable…
They are a failure…
There is no hope…
There is nothing that is too hard for you, Lord. You renew, redeem, restore and bring life from death. You can make an old couple like Abraham and Sarah have a child in their 90’s. You can take someone like Paul, who hated Christians and turn him into one of your most faithful followers. We can never be too far gone, too broken or too unworthy to find restoration and redemption through you. You’ve used prostitutes and children, poor widows and donkeys,  a few fish and loaves of bread to serve your purposes. Nothing, is too small or too great for you. Nothing, is impossible for you.

Lord, we submit ourselves to your will. We ask for your spirit to fill us. We ask for you to cleanse us and forgive us of our sins. Lord, we believe you are who you say you are. We give ourselves to you. We bow down before you and ask to receive…like the blind, the lame, the diseased and the outcasts that begged for your mercy and found a touch from your hand. We ask, believing, that what you did then, you will do now… all it takes is the faith of a mustard seed and a life that is yielded to you for miracles to happen. May we be living witnesses to your power. Come, Lord come… move among us we pray, in Jesus’ name…we ask…we believe… and we receive… with humble and grateful hearts. Amen

Believing with you for miracles friends!

In His love,
Debbie
