Prayer For Oct. 7th

October 7, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We ask that you fill us with a sense of peace and calmness as we go about our day. We pray for serene moments in the midst of emotional upsets, fatigue and struggles. We pray to grow in your knowledge, that we might find that place of peace that passes all understanding. We ask for your strength to enable us to press on and not look to the left or the right, but only to you. Please help us see things through your eyes…give us eyes to see things clearly and not through a veil of uncertainty. Help us not to be double minded. Give us direction and guidance for all the decisions that we face and help us to remember that confusion is not of you.
We lift up our family and friends and all of their needs to you, Lord. Even though we may have heavy hearts for those we love, we are not to worry, but to trust they are in your loving care. Help us to remember that you are fully in control and you love those we care about even more than we do. You are not blind to their needs and even as you are working in their lives, you are working in ours teaching us to rest, trust and not to worry. We release all of our cares to you Lord, so we may have your peace this day. We ask for your Holy Spirit to fill us and to guide us. May we be wise and not fall for the schemes of the enemy. May we hold fast to the things we know to be true. Guard our hearts and keep them safe in you, Lord.

You know our needs, our innermost fears and deepest longings and we offer up everything to you today, Lord. Please forgive us of our sins and help us to forgive those who have hurt us and wronged us. Please deliver us from evil. Help us to run the race before us and not grow weary.

We thank you  for all you have done for us and for all you are doing that we can’t yet see. We praise you Lord. We bow before you with grateful hearts this day. In the name of our Savior Jesus we pray, Amen

May your day be blessed friends! In His love,
