Prayer For Jan. 2nd

January 2, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you for the clean slate that lies before us. Lord, we ask that you would cleanse us and purify us… we thank you that through Christ, we are made white and pure as snow. We thank you for your grace. We thank you for taking the worst of circumstances and redeeming them. We are grateful that we are not defined by our past or our mistakes. We are thankful that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

We thank you that it’s never too late to serve you.. to be healed… to be united with estranged loved ones… to improve ourselves, our lives, our health or our relationships…help us to hear your voice and may your Words and truth heal us and change us. Help us to draw close to you, so we can be confident of your will and direction in our lives. Help us to place our confidence in you and to be strong in you.

Please help us to be bold in you this year. Help us to not waste a single day dwelling on things that we can’t change. Please help us to not be anxious, or ruled by fear. Help us to face this year with boldness and courage knowing that you are beside us every moment of every day and we cannot fail with you by our side. Help us to worry less about what others think about us…help us to be content with the fact that you know the truth and that is what matters most. We give you all the difficult situations…the unchangeable past…all the things that might happen in the future…Lord, we lay everything before you so we can find peace…one day you will right the wrongs, you will reveal all that’s been hidden… you will reveal the truth of every situation and you will vindicate us on every level. Help us to let go of all these things and release them once and for all to your care so we can walk in your freedom.

Help us to see ourselves as you see us…new creations who are loved and cherished by you. We love you, Lord and we are grateful that you will be with us every step of our journey in this new year. Have your way with us, Lord that we may bear much good fruit for you and your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Blessings be upon you today!

Much love in Him,
