Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

As we gather together today we ask for your help in overcoming the negative voices and the things that come against us to discourage us. We know that discouragement comes from the enemy, yet too often we accept the discouragement without countering it with your truth. Help us to overcome the negatives with positives from your Word. When we feel like we are too exhausted to go on, help us to remember that you will renew our strength and give us rest. When we are facing something that seems more than we can handle, help us to remember that you will help us handle all that we are given…. help us to remember that your grace is more than enough to see us through. When we are confused, help us to remember that confusion does not come from you…help us to remember that you promise to give wisdom to those who ask…

When we are tempted to say that we are alone, help us to remember your vow to never leave us or forsake us…when we feel unloved or unwanted, help us to remember all that Christ did to show your great love for us… when we are feeling overwhelmed by financial pressures, help us to trust your promises to provide for our every need…help us to replace “I can’t” with “God can”… help us to walk in your strength, power and victory and resist the lies that the enemy is constantly whispering in our ears.

Lord, we ask at this moment to feel your peace and to view everything in light of your promises…we pray for your grace and favor to give us the energy, motivation and stamina to deal with all that is in front of us… you know everyone who is struggling with overwhelming trials and losses…you see, you care and you are standing with open arms to comfort all who call upon you…

Father, may we be strengthened by focusing on you and not the giants that are before us…everything fades and pales in comparison to you…may we feel empowered like a small child who has his Father beside him when facing bullies… you are with us, and  you are greater than anything we are facing…please bind  wounds, calm fears and replace  anxiety with peace, still racing thoughts and heal all the physical symptoms from too much stress…help us to regain our footing and center ourselves on you. May we face this day feeling confident that you hold the world and us in your hand and you will not fail us. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Praying you feel God’s power and renewed strength!

In His love,
Debbie
