Prayer For Feb. 9th

February 9, 2017

hope

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

It’s so easy for worry, anger and anxiety to dig a trench within us and taint our thoughts, hopes, dreams, faith and perceptions… we waste so many hours worrying and thinking about things that we can not change and things that never come to pass… help us to live our lives as though we can see you physically beside us walking with us throughout our day…if we could see you and touch you, surely we would look at so many things in life differently…

Father, we ask for you to change the color of the landscape in our minds…help us to see colors where things seem dark and dreary… help us to be filled with hope…help us to breathe in the hope that you offer…even when we hurt, even when we are living in the midst of dark times, help us to see you above all else…you are the hope in the midst of our struggles and pain… your light always shines the brightest in the darkness…

Many are struggling to hear you and to see you in the midst of their circumstances. We rarely understand your ways or timing, but we have your promises and the praises and testimonies of others who have gone before us… those who have seen your promises come true for themselves…they testify to your faithfulness…they tell us to hold on and trust…that your ways are not ours …may each one praying cling to your hope and truth that you are our Faithful Redeemer.

When  leaves are dying, their colors are their most vibrant…as we are dying to ourselves, you are using all the pain, hurt and loss to change us into a beautiful reflection of Jesus…the dark days are like the cocoon for the butterfly…they are the dark before the dawn…you will waste nothing… everything we go through will prepare us for when we stand before you and will be beautifully clothed in your righteousness and glory…

Lord, please bless my friends and their loved ones…may they hear your voice, feel your presence, find your comfort and peace and find healing and provision for every need. May they come to see and know you in new ways. May they find encouragement and strength to face this day and may their hearts overflow with the hope of things to come. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Praying and believing you will see the Lord’s goodness friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
