Prayer For March 25th

March 25, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We are told we should wait on you with expectation…you are the God that delivers and protects. David called you, “my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness.” These words paint a picture of your power and might. You tell us that your power is manifested in us when we are weak and your power becomes our power… Father, may these words bring courage to those in need…may your promises bring hope to those who are feeling powerless and defeated…in Psalm 62, it says, “we should trust in you, lean on you, rely on you and have confidence in you all the time!” We are reminded to pour out our hearts before you, because you are our refuge and high tower.

As we face health challenges…as our loved ones face health challenges…as we face heartaches and heartbreaks…as we deal with financial difficulties and troubled relationships…when we hear of terrorist attacks and see domestic divide and unrest…when we see one natural disaster after another, we are reminded that your Word tells us we should not be surprised, overwhelmed or afraid. Your Word says we will hear of wars and rumors of wars…that  your followers will be persecuted… that people will see family members turning against family members and see people falling away from the faith. You told us not to fear, but to keep our hearts and eyes open and to be watchful and ready…to be prayerful.. to look to you, because you have made a way for everything that we will face. Father, may we remember who we belong to this day…may we remember that all power belongs to you.

When we are hurting, time drags on and it seems like our pain is infinite…but our feelings and emotions deceive us…our lives our like a vapor and pass so quickly… this earthly life is as but a moment in our eternal lives…Father, may we lean in to you and keep pressing forward in your strength and with your vision… help us to hang on to faith and hope and believe that better days are coming…help us to keep our eyes fixed on you, our King and Deliverer.

May we accept all that you offer us today. You are great, Lord and so worthy to be praised! May we serve you well and may we bring glory to your name. We look forward with hopeful expectation to what you will do in us and through us. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!
Much love in Him,
