Prayer For March 30th

March 30, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

There are many who are with us today who are dealing with pain so deep they feel like they can’t breathe…many feel like their back is up against a wall…that they have nowhere to run and they are out of options. Many feel like their world is collapsing in on them with no help or answers in sight.

At some point in our lives, we all will face a “Red Sea” moment…a point in time where we have no options except to  trust and rely on you… You allow us to face these situations to strengthen us…to help us learn to trust you…to teach us to live without fear…to show yourself mighty in our lives and circumstances…and to show us that you are still in control and on the throne…you don’t want what is best for us only in the short term…you are looking at what’s best for us in the long run… you don’t want to give us crumbs…you don’t want to give us temporary, quick fixes…you want to bring about the best possible outcome for each of us…help us to want the things you want for us, Lord…help us to not try to second guess you or think that we know better than you…may we learn to trust your timing and seek your will, not our own.

We thank you for the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us when we just don’t have the words to pray. You know our hearts, our failings and our shortcomings. You know every need.  You know where we are at emotionally, mentally, spiritually, financially and physically. You know those who are barely holding on and you know how to get each of us to where we need to be. Help us to hold fast to your promises and the truths proclaimed in your Word. Please help us to remember that you will deliver the needy who cry out and the afflicted who have no one to help. You are a refuge for the oppressed, and a stronghold in times of trouble. When we walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive us…You will supply all of our needs.

Lord, what we can’t do, you can… and so we are coming emptied of ourselves, and with open hearts and hands saying, “fill us Father.” Please show yourself in ways that we’ve never known and may everyone praying, be profoundly aware of your presence in their lives. May they find the hope and faith they need to see them through this day.  In the name of our Savior we pray, Amen

Blessings be upon you,
