Prayer For Sept. 15th

September 15, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today..

Dear Lord,

We thank you for seeing us through this week. Lord, our hearts are heavy when we see the needs of our friends and family who are hurting…when we see all the people who are dealing with the aftermath of disasters, illness and injury…there are so many who are living without the things we take for granted like clean water and air, heat when it’s cold and a/c when it’s hot,  a place to call home, a soft bed, food to eat, medical care and a safe place to escape the harshness of life.

Lord, we lift up to you all who are in these difficult situations…may they feel your peace replace their fear and anxiety…may they see your hand move on their behalf …please open doors for jobs, housing and all who have lost all their possessions…for all the parents whose hearts are heavy and they are feeling overwhelmed because they can’t provide for their kids the way they want to and for all the children who don’t understand all that is happening…Father, please have mercy and poor down your grace…

Please help us to live with an attitude of gratitude and be grateful for the grace that is shown to us. Help us to reach out and help where we can… help us spread hope, love and cheer with those who have none… you are just looking for willing hearts…you take what little we have and multiply it….you turn a little into more than enough… help us to be a comfort and a blessing to someone today…even if we are in the midst of our own trials…it can help us to feel better to help someone else…please bless us so we can bless others…

Father, please open doors and close doors according to your will…help us to trust that you will withhold no good thing and if you do, it is with our best interest in mind…thank you for the gift of being alive today…for the chance to make a difference…for the opportunity to draw closer to you…for the chance to change what we can and to love those we hold dear, one more day. May we  make the most of what we’ve been given. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

May the Lord’s blessing and favor be upon you!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

I woke, this morning, fretting about a difficult and frustrating family problem. I read your prayer and felt the stress drain away. Thank you and amen.
