Prayer For Oct. 4th

October 4, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for being our source of peace… we are grateful that you are our Wonderful Counselor, our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father, our Prince of Peace… one day the word “peace” will take on a whole new meaning and dimension when we are in your presence… all of the things that try so hard to steal our peace and joy will be vanquished once and for all…it’s hard to imagine what it will be like to be in your presence and know such unrelenting, all-encompassing peace…

Lord, we pray for all who are anxious and worried… we ask for your peace that passes all understanding to envelop them…your Word tells us we can have peace by thinking on what is good, what is worthy of praise, what is true and honorable, what is right, what is beautiful and pure…help us all to think, dwell and meditate on these things, instead of the cares of this world.

We ask for healing for those who have anxiety disorders, fear and phobia disorders, OCD and PTSD…for all who have any sort of physical/mental health issues…for all who have been through traumatic events that make finding your peace difficult…Lord, you are The Great Physician and we are asking you according to your will, to do what no doctor or medication can do.

We also lift to you all who are in troubling situations…those who live with abuse and difficult relationships…all who are on the streets…all who are being persecuted, victimized or live in violent situations…Lord, it’s so hard to find peace when we live in chaos…when we are in danger…when we must walk on egg shells…Lord, we pray that everyone in these difficult places would feel your nearness…we pray they will feel your comfort…we ask for deliverance, freedom, healing, hope for better days and your divine intervention… as you opened prison doors and set your disciples free, we ask you to do the same for those who need protection and deliverance.

Lord, we pray to know you better and trust you more…we ask for your Holy Spirit to bring refreshment like a cool breeze on a warm night…there is peace in your presence and in the stillness of this moment, we humbly come before you…we open our arms and our hearts and ask to receive from you now. Please forgive us of our sins and draw us close, Lord. In the name of our Savior Jesus we ask these things. Amen

May you find His perfect peace as you fix your minds on Him!

In His love,
