Prayer For Oct. 7th

October 7, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for this day…we thank you for seeing us through this week. We thank you for your grace that has sustained us…some days and weeks are harder than others and this has been a hard week…

Father, we know there are many things we deal with in this life that do not have quick fixes…so many things we deal with, others don’t understand and it’s easy to feel isolated and alone…help us remember that you never leave or forsake us, you understand everything we face and deal with, there is a purpose for the pain you allow and you promise to bring beauty from brokenness…when we are broken, it is a chance for you to become more alive in us… there is less of us and more of you…more of your strength…more of your power…more of your grace…more of your peace …we are never more aware of our need for you than when we feel empty and broken and we are grateful for your promise to be near to the brokenhearted.Lord, help us to remember that you are greater than anything in this world…please pour your spirit out and cause a revival in this world…may that revival start with each of us…may we grow and mature in you…remind us that you have equipped us…you have not left us defenseless…we are not defeated…we are not without hope…we are not without resources…remind us in your Word of the many times your children faced overwhelming trials and odds and how they overcame…please make roadways in the wilderness and streams in the desert…we pray that the lost will have their eyes opened to who you are …

Please bless everyone reading this…please comfort them, heal them and make them aware of your nearness…please breathe new life into us…for those who are overwhelmed by stress, may they feel the tension release from their body even as they are praying at this moment…we ask for your strength and for provision for this day…may you be glorified in us and our circumstances. No matter what is going on, may we be able to say, “this is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice in it”. We give you all that we are and  all we hope to be. We lay our burdens before you and we offer up our praise. We thank you for our Savior Jesus in whose name we pray. Amen

Praying you feel His comfort, nearness and strength today friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
