Prayer For Jan. 30th

January 30, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,

We thank you that we don’t walk alone on dark roads or on gray dreary days…we thank you that we don’t have to carry any difficult thing or situation by ourselves…Jesus asks us to surrender our pain, surrender the hurts, surrender the broken, shattered pieces of our hearts so He can carry those things and exchange it all for His peace and comfort…what a blessed Savior we have who took the weight of our sins and suffering upon Himself and continually offers to carry our heavy loads so we don’t have to.

Father, no matter what is going on in our lives today …regardless of what is to come in the days ahead… may we remember the cross and the empty tomb…may we remember that you don’t always give us answers, but you always give us yourself …you may seem silent at times, but you are always present…we don’t have to wonder where you are, because you have promised to be with us and to never leave or forsake us …one day we will see for ourselves all the times that you protected, intervened, defended and surrounded us with your angel armies…all the times that  you kept us from even more harm and adversity than we could see around us… one day we will see with different eyes what is going on in the spirit world around us… one day we will be filled with gratitude instead of questions, as we finally understand what our minds can’t begin to comprehend now.

Please lead and guide us on the narrow road that leads to life and to you…help us to not be led astray…help us to hear and know your voice…please remove anything from our lives that hinders our walk with you. Thank you for your compassion, grace, patience, mercy and strength.  We are grateful for all you sacrificed for us that we might be redeemed. May we cast off any chains that bind us and walk in the freedom that you made possible for us all. We give you praise, glory and honor as we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen

May you find healing, comfort and rest in the arms of Jesus!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
