Prayer For Feb. 19th

February 19, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,We praise you for waking us today and for another day of life. Please draw us unto yourself and speak your words of wisdom to our hearts. We pray for your loving compassion to transform and renew us. We pray for your peace to engulf us. We pray for your clarity so we can  understand the Scriptures that they might change us to be more like Jesus. We pray to hear your voice above all others.

Lord, we ask that the Holy Spirit would intercede for those who just don’t have the words to pray today. So many are seeing their world collapsing under mounds of grief and life changing events…please bring comfort and healing as only you can…

Please help us all to trust you enough to pray without restrictions… too often we pray wanting our will and not yours and then we become discouraged when we don’t see our prayers answered the way we’d hoped… too often we pray, asking for your peace and then we return to our old habits and ways of thinking that hinder you from answering that prayer. Please help us to be courageous and bold in our faith and help us to let go of anything in our lives that is harmful or not helpful.

Please help us to be obedient and submissive to your will. Help us to die to ourselves…help us to remember that all it takes is faith the size of a mustard seed to move mountains. You are not slow to answer…not one of your promises will return void…there is nothing that can snatch us from your hand or change your love for us…help us to live boldly, confidently and expectantly as your children with complete confidence in who you are.

Please go before us this week and lead and guide us in all that we say and do that we might glorify you and serve you well. We thank you for knowing our needs before we ask and we thank you in advance for all that you are working out on our behalf to meet those needs. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Blessings be upon you dear friends!
Much love in Him,
