Prayer For May 4th

May 4, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Today as we gather together we pray for those who are dealing with chronic illness, pain and  health issues… we ask for your divine intervention…we lift to you our friends and loved ones who are dealing with health issues big and small…may your healing hand to be upon each one in need…we have faith to believe all things are possible through you and by your stripes we are healed…may your will be done and we thank you in advance for all you will do.

There are many who are struggling to get  the care, medications, services and help they need…you know by name each person who needs help …you know every detail of their situations …you know the uphill battles they face…you know their disappointments, frustrations, sadness and anger…we know that you can make roadways in the wilderness and rivers in the desert…you can open doors that no man can open… please do what only you can do…may our faith be big and bold and never doubting or wavering …help us to never put you in a box or limit what you want to do in our lives or circumstances…

Our lives are so brief, fragile and fleeting…it seems there are never enough hours in the day, except when we are full of grief or pain, or stuck in difficult places…then the days seem endless. Please grant us your wisdom so we will make the most of our days…give us insight so we know what to pursue, what we can change, what we must persevere with and what we must let go of and trust to your hands…please help our faith when it is weak and give us courage when we feel frightened. Help us to count it all joy when we face trials and adversity… may your promises be like a life-preserver thrown to a drowning man… may we latch onto them so they can  support and hold us up and help us to hold fast to you…please sustain, encourage and build up each one praying. Help us to trust when it doesn’t seem natural to do so…

We thank you for being in our midst and we praise you and thank your for your grace, mercy and peace that you so graciously lavish upon us. We commit this day and all that’s in it into your hands and we thank you that we can ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

In His love,
