Prayer For June 18th

June 18, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift this week to you and  dedicate it to you. We ask that you would lead and guide us in all that lies ahead. We ask that you would give us opportunities to share your love and compassion and to meet the needs of others, even as you are meeting our needs.

Please be with those we love and hold dear. We ask  that you would soften the hearts of those who don’t know you. May they see you clearly for who you are. We ask that you’d bring the prodigals home and that you would heal and restore estranged relationships. We ask that you would deliver our friends and family members from addictions and bad influences…and we ask the same for anyone who is reading this prayer who is struggling with addiction as well. We ask for your healing touch to be upon all who are ill, injured or disabled. Please give strength to the caregivers and those who are worn-out… for those who have financial needs and all that entails… whether it be a need for a job, a car, housing, money to live on, money for deposits, repairs, medical expenses or food to eat…please open your store houses and make a way where there seems to be no way…we pray for all who are hurting… may they feel your comfort and for those who are unsettled, we pray they would feel your peace.

Please forgive us for our sins and fill us with your Holy Spirit. May we have your boldness and courage to stand firm in the things you’ve taught us… help us to live a life that is pleasing to you and not worry about seeking  the approval or acceptance of men. We pray for our countries and we pray for our leaders… you know all that is wrong…you know all the needs…we lift our leaders up to you and pray they will know you, love you and want to serve you and please you. Finally, we ask that you would help us this week to take steps that will move us forward in any area where we are stuck or need to make changes… help us to grow in faith, casting all fear, worry and anxious thoughts aside…may we trust in your power that flows through us and face each day with confidence… not because of who we are, but because we know whose we are. We give you all that we are and all that we hope to be.  In the name of Christ we pray, Amen.

May you have a blessed week!
In His love,
