Prayer For June 19th

June 19, 2018

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for the opportunity to come before you once again in prayer.  We lay everything on your altar and empty ourselves before you and ask you to fill us with your Spirit. Forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Please create a right spirit within us and renew our minds…may we die to ourselves that Christ might be resurrected within us…

We are coming before you, hungry and thirsty for more of you. May we be so filled by you, that we won’t thirst or long for things of this world…may we seek the eternal things that the world can’t give or take away…may we strive for heavenly treasures, not for things that have no lasting, eternal value.

We ask for your spiritual blessing to be upon us, so  we will grow and mature in our faith. We ask for your physical blessings that we might overcome and endure all that is before us. We ask for your wisdom, knowledge and discernment. We thank you in advance for giving us our daily bread and all we need to sustain our physical, mental, financial, emotional and spiritual needs. You tell us that you see each sparrow that falls and your know our needs before we ask, so we have no need to worry, be fearful or to anxiously look about. We bow before you with gratitude for the many ways you bless our lives and care of us…may we in turn be  used to be a blessing and  to share all you’ve given us with those around us. Help us to be “others” centered and not self-centered. May your light shine brightly from us that others may see you in us.

May we face the difficulties in our lives  armed with your promises and with increasing hope in our hearts. When we have done all we can do, help us to rest, trust and wait on you. Help us to stand on the truth of who you are…The Bread of Life…The Living Water…the Prince of Peace… We look forward with grateful anticipation for all you will do this day. We thank you that we can come to your throne of grace and ask these things in Jesus’ name, Amen

Blessings be upon you, your family and this day!
In His Love,
