Prayer For Aug. 14th

August 14, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Your Word tells us there is no where we can go to escape your presence… your hand is there to guide us and to hold us…you are a refuge for the poor… a refuge for those in distress… you are our shelter from the storms and our shade from the heat.

The fact that you are with us does not mean that we will never struggle, but it does mean we will never struggle alone. People often cry out and ask where you are in the midst of their trials, too few realize that you are right there beside us in everything we face…you are pouring your strength, power, grace and comfort into us. You are there wiping our tears and grieving with us, holding us under the shadow of your wing and always whispering, “I am with you.”

You tell us to be strong and courageous…. to not be terrified or discouraged…you will be with us wherever we go and you will not leave or forsake us… When we pass through the waters you will be with us… when we pass through rivers, they will not overtake us… when we walk through the fire you will be in there with us…you are our helper, deliverer and an ever-present source of strength and help in times of trouble.

May your words ring in our ears and bring comfort to our souls. May we feel empowered knowing the Lord of Lords and King of Kings is with us always…may the thought of how precious we are to you heal the hurts inflicted by others. May the thought of how invested you are in us, make us feel valued and treasured…may we seize, claim and lay up in our hearts every word of encouragement you give us and every promise you have made to us.

Help us all to believe that the only one we need validation from is you…that the most important relationship we have is with you…
We bow before you with open arms, heart and mind and ask you to fill us to overflowing with your Spirit, grace, peace and truth. May we use your Word, just as Jesus did to rebuke the lies of the enemy…
We praise you and thank you for your goodness and mercy. May we always put you in the rightful place in our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Praying blessings upon you!

In His love,
Debbie
