Prayer For Aug. 28th

August 28, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,

We thank you for the power that you have bestowed upon us as your children. We thank you for the tools and weapons you give us to fight our battles. So often we feel ill-equipped for what is before us.  We forget that we do nothing in our own might, power or strength. We forget that all that matters is Jesus…it’s His qualifications, His track record, His strength that matters, not ours. You have foreseen everything we will go through. You have anticipated our every need. Help us to remember all you’ve taught us. Help us to remember that our help comes from you, the maker of heaven and earth. Help us to be calm and clear minded in the midst of our struggles. Help us not to lean on our own understanding, but to acknowledge you so you can guide and direct us.

Help us to remember the power that is unleashed when we call upon Christ’s name. When we pray in the name of Jesus and bring our problems to your throne, the enemy has no chance to win.  He has no power over us. Christ has defeated him at every turn. Christ has the power to destroy every stronghold. He has the power to break every chain. He has the power to remove every form of oppression that the enemy tries to use against us. When we pray in the name of Jesus, we invoke the name of The One who intercedes on our behalf.

We come to your throne with hope, knowing that you have the last word over ALL of our storms and battles, our enemies, our health, our healing, our finances, our relationships…you hold our lives in your hands and things are not over until you say they are over, and nothing can stop your plans for us.

May we go about our day today with confidence that you have heard our prayers and seen our needs and  we are where we are meant to be. Work your will in our lives. We thank you for your Spirit who intercedes for us when we don’t know the words to pray…we thank you for your patience and understanding with us and for your hand that is holding us and sustaining us. In the name of our Savior Jesus we pray and ask these things. Amen.

May you have a wonderfully blessed day friends!

Blessings, hugs and love to you,
Debbie
