Prayer For Aug. 30th

August 30, 2018

Hello Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are the God of all comfort and the God of compassion. Some people think you are unmoved by our struggles, but nothing could be further from the truth. Our tears are precious to you…you are so amazing that you have even made the molecular structure of our tears change depending on if we shed happy tears, tears of  sorrow, or tears  from cutting an onion…our tears  contain our DNA…our tears give physical proof that we are seen and known  by you and you care about the smallest details of our lives… your Word says you care so much, that you keep track of our tears and collect them…Jesus knows first hand about tears…He wept…He knows about pain and sorrow…He was well acquainted with grief…thank you for all you’ve done to show your great love for us and just how magnificent you are!

We thank you for your understanding and for walking with us through the difficulties and tragedies we face…we thank you for the hope we have in you and for the assurance that one day you will wipe the last tears from our eyes and redeem everything we have been through.

Help us to praise you in our storms…help us to see the silver lining in the gray clouds… help us to remember that what the enemy has meant for harm, you intend for good…all the trials of this life are working in us an eternal weight of glory…they can’t begin to compare with the joy that is coming…they are drawing us close to you…

Help us to press into you and to hold on to you as though our lives depended on it…because they do…we need you, Father, oh how we need you…we need you to turn our weeping to dancing…our mourning to joy…to take our heavy burdens and replace them with your gentle yoke…

Please anoint the heavy-hearted with your grace…may they truly grasp your goodness and mercy and know that you will lead them beside still water and restore and refresh them in ways only you can.

Thank you for pouring yourself into us so we might endure with confident assurance and hope in our hearts. Please go before us this day… may you be glorified in our lives and circumstances…in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

May you feel His nearness friends!

In His love,
Debbie
