Prayer For Nov. 20th

November 20, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,As we gather today, we pray for those who are grieving or missing someone…on special dates and during the holidays we tend to feel our losses more … we are reminded of how life used to be during certain times of the year… sometimes even when we are enjoying life, we think about how we wish we could share those special moments with those who aren’t with us.

We lift up to you the divorced, separated, widowed and single…the parents who have lost children… all who are estranged, separated or unable to be with family members or friends … all who have never had the love, approval or blessing from their parents or children that they have longed for…all who are dealing with things like dementia and Alzheimer’s and they miss the person their loved one used to be… we lift anyone else who might be feeling the loss of someone important from their life… for each person who is hurting today, we pray for your comforting arms to surround them. We ask that you would turn their mourning to joy….we ask that you would take away the feelings of emptiness and wishing for what was or what will never be…

Only you can truly fill the void that we all feel at times…this earth is not our home and the things of this life can never satisfy us like you can …we can only imagine what it will be like when we are home and in your presence…what it  be like to finally feel whole and complete and lacking nothing… and what a joyous thing it will be to be reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us…we will be in every way, who and what we were created to be…not lacking in any way…may this thought give everyone a sense of hope, peace and comfort today…better days are ahead…our best days have yet to happen…

Please bless all who are reading this prayer…may they sense your nearness and be overwhelmed by your supernatural love, joy and peace today. We thank you in advance for the ways you will answer our prayers. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

May His peace, comfort and joy fill you to overflowing!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
